    I scream out to the sky,
    It gives only a winking star.
    I scream out to the ocean,
    I get but the foamy waves.
    I scream out to the woodlands,
    I hear only rustling leaves.
    I scream out to the mountains,
    They only give an echo back.
    I scream out to the city,
    I get honking horns.
    I scream out to myself,
    I get what I need.
    Acknowledgement.
    To remind myself.
    That I do exist.
