• In the distance
    I saw a child
    Upon the streets she begs
    For someone to love her
    But her cries don't matter
    To those who passed
    For all they saw was
    An empty space
    Of ground with a
    Shadow that was dim
    and shapeless
    As the tears
    Ran down her cheeks
    She realized that
    Not one person
    Wished to notice her
    As the sun , set
    The child started to
    disappear in the
    Shadows of the night light
    And her voice became ever
    So quiet ,but in one moment
    A single word slipped passed
    Her lips "LOVE"
    And then all at once
    She was gone
