White Wings

• Description: This was inspired by my cousin. I wrote it last year but it is still one of my favorite poems. It can be seen as two ways (that I've thought of anyway) either as an angel, or a dove or other bird. Well I hope you like it.

Against the sky
Wind sings
Earth I defy
Higher, higher
Towards the sun
Never tire
Or be undone
Reaching out
Almost there
Please don't doubt
Or despair
Brighter now
Blinding me
Here I vow
I decree
Never treading
On the ground
Never shedding
Sky unbound
