So long have you ventured beyond the rill
To the Forbidden Land under dark skies;
And thus took the risk and left to fulfill
A quest that would lead to your own demise.
You fought sixteen beasts made from spell and stone
And watched your future come, even more bleak
As you felled each idol for to atone
Revival to a fair maiden, so meek.
This land you walked upon was oh so vast,
Though Lord Emon wished it not be traveresed
For, if the spell of Dormin's rage be cast,
One's soul would be under a horrid curse.
Your death was the start of your new rebirth
As an infant under the sunlit earth.

Description:
This was something I wrote at school for fun really. We're doing Shakespeare and stuff, and just did stuff about Sonnets, and wrote our own, but I decided to write an additional one. It's about Wander, the protagonist of my favorite game, Shadow of the Colossus. I worked really hard on it, so I hope you like it~
By the way, "rill" is a word. It's a small brook. - Date: 11/03/2008
