There’s a place in my mind

Where I can always find

Joy, peace and tranquility

Where the sun sets slow

Where beautiful trees grow

When I need my space

I just go that place

When I close my eyes

That’s when I realize

What calm and silence bring

They give my heart a song to sing

There’s a place in my mind

Where I can find

Rivers that flow

Everywhere I go

Where time stands still

As I watch the stars on a hill

When I’m there

I don’t have a care

Then I open my eyes

That’s when I realize

I have to go

But I always know

That its there when I need it

I just close my eyes and I can see it.
