To fly away
on my darkened wings
darkened by my loss and hatred
flying away to a place where sorrow will crown its new king

the reason my wings turned black
because once I lost you I, had nothing to live for,
nothing to care about
flying close to my despairs core

I’ve lost you forever
there's nothing I can do
you've put my heart in a coma
in which it cannot come to

to rid my burdened wings
to rid my burdened heart
I’ll sever them both
I’ll tear them apart

no wings to fly upon
nowhere to fly away
I’ll face my fear of loss
even if it means leaving my heart astray

sorrow will have to find a new king
despairs core will have to wait
time to turn my life around
time to change my fate
