The sky comes crashing, crashing down.
Whispers heard, but in a world of no sound.
Hands are reaching, hoping, praying.
In this world, there's no use staying.
Eyes are watching eyes that speak
of fear, no hope, of the safety they seek.
Hearts are racing, mouths are moving.
Who ever knew that silence was soothing?
Many close their eyes so they can't look around
to see who breathes air in the world with no sound.
So close your eyes with me, and take a deep breath.
Go to sleep, now; have no fear of death.

- Description: I'm feeling angry at the moment. I need to let it all out in a poem. I'm just kind of winging it. Please read. {Comment afterwards: Once I started writing, I kind of swung into a war theme--about the people who are in the middle of a city being bombed. Let me know what you think, and it would be wonderful if you read my other pieces. Thank you.}

OMG I ******** love it!
And you know, I a glad there are other people like me that understand death is normal. The only death I wouldn't be able to handle is the death of my loved ones. Oh s**t did I have a terrible nightmare about their death. GREAT WORK WITH YOUR POEM! 5/5 - Report As Spam
