There's an odd silence in my head. It's as if all the voices went away to hide.
I call to them, but no one answers. I call again, and a small voice finally pipes up.
Shrilly it pores over the bitter memories I have, the memories I try to forget.
It continues to raise the troubles that besiege me, and I am getting
overwhelmed. I scream at the voice, scream at it to shut up.
It goes on, louder than ever and now I'm screaming in
agony, begging it to be silenced. It won't. Beneath
the screams and the agony, another voice
begins to talk. It begins a stream of words
that have nothing to do with anything.
But the words have a certain rhythm
that calms me down, and the shrill
voice falters and dies. I settle down,
listening to the words that match
my heartbeat.
And
I
am
at peace.

It totally describes my heart. I have this burning desire to write...
Only difference--you express it beautifully. What I write could be rejected by the gentlest of angels... - Report As Spam

- I like it. Looks like an upside-down bell. Pretty. And I can totally relate to the poem. Sometimes, you just have to write because there's something clawing relentlessly at your soul and you'll go crazy if you don't release it. 5/5.

- I really like the format of your poem - imitating a glass. Somewhat I would expect different content tough. I thing it will be more suitable for love poem. Like a drops of wine. 3/5
