A Vampire's Tragedy
Alone I sit on the top of a hill
Thinking of how my unlife has beenOf the pain and the sorrow I've seenIn the eyes of my victims before they lay still.
Though a hunter in darkness I must beThe feelings of guilt always come back
When I sink my teeth in another man's neck
My conscience is the only light left in me.
All I want is to leave the shadows behindAnd truly this time I willFor I no longer desire to kill
Thoughts of light are now on my mind.
I'm waiting for the sunrise todayOn the lonely hill where I sit
And maybe, I'll catch a glimpse of it
Before the wind blows my ashes away.

I only complain about how small the letter is.
I broke my glasses. So I had to copy, paste, and enlarge
to read.
Good vampire poem. Ever since "Twilight" though, people have been
littering the internet with crappy vampire/romantic poems, stories;
I even saw a haiku.
Your is the one that stands out. Keep writing. - Report As Spam
