There was a boy and a girl who were meant to be
Soul mates, so close, almost like destiny
A present from heaven, a gift from above
Met in grade eleven, dated and fell in love
Graduated, seperated, tried to move on
Different college, but in their knowledge the love wasn't gone
She grew up to twenty four, he became twenty five
They moved next door to each other and the passion sprung alive
"Baby, is that you?" He asked in disbelief
"Miracles do come true!" and love replaced their grief
Two weeks later, they planned on getting married
After she found out she had a baby she carried
The day after that she was coming home from work
It was late, she had no idea that danger would lurk
A stranger was in her way and she tried to pass him by
He bumped into her, mumbled "Sorry," but it was a lie
He grabbed her, stumbled, fumbled, pushed her to the wall
She screamed for help, but no one could answer her call
She smelled alcohol, heard the click of a switchblade
Felt the pain, tasted blood, and watched the world fade
Lying on the ground, calling, asking for him in vain
It started to rain, and she started going insane
Thunder boomed and lightning ripped open the sky
Starting to cry, wishing he was by her side
She didn't want to die such a horrible death
But she let out a sigh and let out her weary last breath
The next day, the fiance got a knock on the door
Got the bad news and let out a roar
He was filled with anguish, sadness, and strife
He thought the only solution would be to end his own life
He ran to his bedroom without a care
Locked the door and blocked it with tables and chairs
Looked at the clock, grabbed the glock from a drawer
Kneeling, looking at the ceiling, trying to talk to her
"Baby, I'm sorry, but I can't live without you
'Cause my entire life has always been about you
I can't stand the pain I'm feeling 'bout you leaving
I'm on my knees reeling, baby, my heart is grieving
There's just too much sorrow. But wherever you go
I'll follow even if it means no tomorrow."
So he pointed the gun right underneath his chin
Unaware of the danger he was putting himself in
Forced his sweaty finger to pull on the trigger
There was a bullet in his brain but his thoughts still lingered
The police broke through the door a moment too late
As he fell to the floor and met his untimely fate
This is the end of the story of that boy and the girl
Who, to each other, were worth more than the world.

- It's very striking, and I actually like the internal rhyming, even if the meter is off. The story itself takes such a sharp turn, I like it, it's not predictable.

- I like it, very good for a rap, I'll give you a 4/5 though, becuase I am poetry nut, and constant rhyming gets on my nerves just a little bit

- The meter isn't consistant, but it tells a decent story and you did alright with the rhyming - I mean, it doesn't sound like you're trying to cater exclusively to the rhymes, which is what usually brings any sort of poetry or song down. Good job.
