For the record, I never really lived through that war that took
place in the second century, I was only born on that end of that era, but, the aftermath of
that war still haunted those beneath the feet of nobles and aristocrats and generals and
rich folk. I lost my mother to a slaver, but she died when she resisted to do what the slavers
want, so they cut her throat, I know because I was there and I was only 8 that time. Then I
lost my father when a bunch of Roman soldiers got too drunk on their night out and my
father and I were only carrying our master's wine and when they saw us they demanded we
hand them over the wine, but, my dad refused and when one of the soldiers got touchy
my dad fought but lost when one of em drew their sword and stabbed him several times...
and I was there... This is the first time I've actually told this story and I never told this to
Timothy or Jacob even though I've been their friend the moment I met them... in later eras.
And to ask how I'm still here after 2000+ years, your better of asking the deity that allowed
me to live this long and suffer more than what I've bargained for, but, with age comes
knowledge and that's what my calling was, I research, I study, I experiment, I hone my
skills and learned everything from then and now and I continue that task even to this
day and age and there are more to come until the core that's keeping me alive is struck
by someone who thinks it's my time to stop. Well I doubt that time will come since I no
longer wish to cease. I'm just getting started, knowledge is infinity, history is remembered
so that we can never repeat it, discovery is ever-so-present so that we can learn something
new to fill our curiosity, futures are planned so that we can thrive and survive this cruel dark
world and the only irony is that everyday we experience déjà vu or a repeat in history, "our"
own history, because, we remember everything even though we suppress them to forget.
The dead are the only ones that doesn't have to suffer since they've been long gone.
Those of the living are just unaware of what they might end up remembering, some good
and some... horrifying... But at least my brain is mostly machine, because I can erase
my entire childhood but keep the ones that is most important, like who I am and who my
present day friends are as well as the knowledge I've received from my numerous years
on this earth. And the only thing I'm most ashamed of is when people were so gullible
and naive. I can't even utter how people from those days continue to live in certain
parts of the United States. I respect them, but, they're mostly afraid of change and
evolution, so I'll only leave them to their daily life and I'll continue with mine.
