I threw up my hate yesterday. Flushed it down the toilet. Gone was malice, evil, and the wrong.
Until it crawled through the pipes.
I tried to flush my hate, but then it crawled through the pipes and now manifests in the corner right next to my bathtub.
Everyday, it grows a little bigger and I can't do anything but stare.
I can't summon any will to kill it. I thought about calling an exterminator, but what I should be calling is a priest or something.
I went to work on Monday, and I was extra nice to everyone. Even the hateful coworker in the cubical next to mine. When he insulted me, I wasn't hurt like usual.
He was surprised, I think.
I went home to the spongy, decrepit darkness in the corner of my bathroom, right next to the bathtub, and I opted for a shower.
It reached for me with thin tentacles as I toweled off.
It's been a week since then, and I can't go into the bathroom anymore. The gooey, charcoal dark blackness still remains and even took up the entire thing.
I got fired for trying to bathe myself in the sink at work. That coworker told on me, the mean one.
When I got home, I stared at the darkness that was pouring through the bathroom door and breaching my living room. That's all I could do.
I can't pay my rent and the priest said that he didn't see anything in the bathroom. He even used it.
I went to work to pick up the last of my stuff and my coworker sneered. Thin and vile tentacles reached for me from between his yellow teeth.
Now, after dumping the smelly trashbags in the hole I just dug, I think that perhaps it wasn't my malice that I threw up.
Swirly blackness from the fresh soil reachs for me, and I open my mouth wide.
It crawls in and manifests.
