• "Princess?!" my bodyguard yelled as he banged on my bedroom door. I sluggishly climbed out of the large comfortable bed that I really just wanted to stay in for about 2 years. I walked across my gigantic room my bare feet thumping against the cold marble floor. I had to stand on my tippy-toes to open my own bedroom door. My bodyguard, Ryu, burst into my room looking concerned and irritated. He grabbed my ear and dragged me into the throne room while I complained about how early it was. He gave me a strong stare and said "Its 11:35 a.m." He quickly let go of my ear so I could go talk to my mother and father, the king and queen. My mother was the most wonderful and beautiful woman I've ever seen. and I was the younger image of her, We both were petite and skinny with pretty faces and we also were the only cat people in the kingdom with red colored tails ears and hair. My mother was also so very kind and loving she never once harmed anything or anyone and she and father had always run the kingdom like it was their own household with many little children. My father was also very handsome, unlike my mother he was very tall and very strong, he used to be a knight before finding out he had the blood of kings. his jet black hair never grayed and even his stubble made him look cool. my father has a kind heart but still he has the rule with an iron fist.

    I had short crimson colored hair and bright yellow eyes i am small and cute but i'm tough and rebellious. My elder brother Nathan looked exactly like me but he isn't small nor cute... he was two years older than me and unlike normal children we never fought with each other , we treasured each other like one treasures their kids. Nathan and I stood in front of mother and father and noticed the concerned look on their faces.
    "good morning mother and father," we said in unison as if planning to do so.
    "Children...Your mother and I have bad news...," my father confessed "This man and Ryu, they must take you away from here."

    "WHAT?" Nathan seemed to shrieked
    "HUH!?" I yelled

    "There is a man who will take you in so please...," My mother said almost crying " We cant explain you have to go right now!"
    My father held on to our shoulders and said "You have to survive! Terra,Nathan, you have to defeat him...," The first time I'd seen my father cry " you have to save us..."

    Suddenly Ryu picked me up and threw me over his shoulder like a rag. And the dog man made Nathan mount his back. They began leaving the castle fast. I remember hearing loud crashes and screams from the kingdom as we left on horses into the forest.

    It took us all day to get to the dog man's house. It was a small warm house, The dog man seemed to be a mage from all the books he had and his magic staff. Nathan and I held on to each other and cried. Ryu looked down on us and got up and wrapped a blanket he had over us. I stared at Ryu with tears in my eyes and asked...

    "Is this ganna be our lives from now on?" Ryu nodded his head and sat next to us as we felt bad for our selves knowing how long and hard this journey was about to be. We fell asleep.
