Miku grew up, and at age of six she was a very, sad child. She had no fun in her life, at all, because nobody wanted to be her freind. Why? They were afraid, of her blue hair. Miku was the only person in her whole life that had blue hair. She was very lonely, and her teacher didn't let her have a desk; her hair got stuck too much. Miku would just sit in the corner, crying. Nobody ever noticed. Nobody. The teacher never asked her questions, nor ever talked to her. Nobody tried to cheer up Miku. It's why she's lived a pretty bad life, and to think, starting at age six.
At age nine, Miku's parents abandoned her in a house that had to be rented, and Miku could not afford to pay. She was very, very sad, and had to drop out of school. She cried, and cried, and then kept trying to tell herself, Miku, Miku. It's alright, It's alright. But, it wasn't alright. Miku was nine, and now had to live a life on her own. With nobody on her side, except herself, of course.
She knew how to get food, because Miku thought that this day would happen, and stored a lot of food in a special tree.
Eleven months had passed after her birthday of nine, and Miku had still survived. A large hurricane was coming, in one month, but Miku had no idea. She had no television to watch the news.
It was her tenth birthday, and Miku never got any presents, cake, or party, Unless she walked herself to the park, and begged squirrels for nuts. In exactly 3 days, the hurricane was predicted to come. Miku wasn't scared at all, because she had no idea it was coming.
One day, at night, when Miku was age ten, she sat under a tree. Miku was still broken in pieces, more pieces then humpty dumpty, shriveling out all her tears. It was dark, but Miku had nowhere to live. It was nighttime, and it was pouring rain, the rain wouldn't stop. But, Miku's only shelter was the tree. It covered all the rain, but still, Miku was very cold. Nobody can stay in the rain that long, the rain had been going on for four days. It rained very severe, and in the first day Miku had seen many cars leaving the area. Miku had no idea. The wind nearly beat her in life, Miku had no idea that this was a hurricane. Miku had never been in a hurricane before.
Then, a damp, very wet cat walked up to Miku. It was a black cat, and it admired Miku's cat ears and tail. The cat jumped to her, and shook off all the water. Miku then got wet, and was even colder. She cried, even when she had company. The cat then tried to cheer Miku up, with some funny poses. Miku just cried, and cried. The cat's face went sad. Somehow, Miku knew the cat wanted Miku to be happy. Miku smiled, and the cat jumped up into her arms. Actually, the cat's fur was really warm. Really, really warm. The cat snuggled with Miku, as the last tear slid down her cheek. Miku then said, "Why, I think I'll name you...Rin." Miku said to the cat. Miku then saw, a tornado whisked up as water. It was all the wind pulling against the lake next to her! Miku saw trees falling down, and Miku was really, really scared. She couldn't run that fast, and Miku was outside in cold, watery rain. Miku just sat, and held on to the kitty. The cat was the closest to a friend Miku could get, at least now. Miku scrunched her eyes in terror, and let out a very loud shriek. The tornado was now getting closer. Miku, Miku! Don't panic, stay calm, stay calm.... It's fine, it's fine... Miku though to herself.
It was getting closer, second by second. Even though nearly all the water of the lake was whisked in a swirly form, there was still a lot of water. Much taller than Miku.
Miku was about to panic. She was afraid she was going to die, through a water whirl. She grabbed the cat, and stood up, She ran, with her old, high black boots. As fast as she could. Miku was a very, very fast runner. But, very soon, the whirl would catch up to her. The tornado was faster than anything's legs. Even a cat's.
Finally, it had been time. A sounding bell clicked on 12:00, and that loud tick fiested in Miku's ears. Miku was tired of running, and right then, as soon at that tick went off, the whirlpool in the air caught miku. It had swirled her up, all the way up. Miku tried and tried to atleast be with her cat, but failed. The cat ahd slipped out of her hands, and Miku was alone again. There were wrecked house pieces, parts of trees, and anything that thing could swoop up. But Miku was the only one in there. Finally, she was at the top of the tornado. She had air, forced up into her body due to the air, Miku tried to swim down, and look for the cat. But, instead, the current had pulled her out. Out of the whole whirl of water. Now, above the lake, she was falling. She was about to die, and only age ten... But...
She had completely fallen into the lake. A big splash was made, and now she was just sinking slowly. She had little bubbles coming out her mouth, and finally, she had hit the sandy floor. Her eyes were closed, in daziness.
Above the water, the cat was swimming. The cat didn't like water, but the cat did like Miku. A lot. The cat swam and swam, until the cat finally saw two strings of long, blue hair. That cat swam and swam, not having much air. The cat found miku, and use it's sharp teeth to grab her collar. The cat now had to pull. Pull harder than the cat could, ever.It pulled and pulled, and finally reached the surface. The hurricane was over, but still people were evacuated. Miku and the cat were the only people there.
Miku started breathing again. She could feel the air, and was on grass. There, next to her, was the same old black cat Miku had found. People were back, and it was now a normal, old, sunny day. Next to Miku was the cat, and another person. It was a boy, with dark blue hair wearing a scarf. Miku gently opened her eyes to hearing birds chirping. She had only gotten a glimpse of the boy who was staring at her, and when she blinked the boy was gone.
Who was he? Miku didn't know yet.
Three years had passed, and Miku had made a family of her own with her kitten. On her sixteenth birthday, she did only have herself and the kitten, but she had memories of the boy wearing a scarf in her head.
Miku had then decided to make a song, a song for somebody. A song for the cat. She then, decided to sing it. With all her might, and her beautiful voice. Miku was trying to sing Melody, for the cat. Miku knew that, the cat was the one who gave Miku the idea to sing.
Finally, after 2 years, Miku decided she needed some money. At age fifteen, her voice didn't change. But she had to go human whenever she sang. She had found a hat, and then walked into the most populated place. She had started to sing, her beautiful song. It had gotten many hits, and Miku got a lot of Money.
And Miku decided to sing, for her living. Her cat, may be her only family, but now she has the courage to make friends, to do anything she wants.
Finally, in present time, a year had passed. She is now sixteen, and has heard about a Neko and human school... will she make more friend's there?
