• The package was hidden, covered by the amount of clothes he had put in his backpack. The objective was to get from one end of the city to the other.
Security was tight, especially in the Financial district in the middle of town. Many of the workers at the construction site were specially trained agents to keep an eye out for the Resistance. Runner checked his watch. Five to 12. Five more minutes.
He remembered his training. Never get cornered. Stay on high ground. And most importantly, keep running. Four more minutes.
Runner thought about the future. What would happen if he didn't get the intel to the other side of the city? He wondered if he would see any important leaders of the Resistance there. Three more -no, two more minutes.
He knew he was putting himself in danger. But if he was caught, he had nothing to lose. Runner had no family, no life, just the Resistance. 50 seconds.
His heart started to beat faster. He was in the shadows, but anyone could see him if they looked closely. 20 seconds.
Out of the corner of his eye, Runner saw a construction worker throw down his drill.
    10 more seconds.
The worker started walking toward Runner. 5 more seconds.
    "Excuse me sir-"
    3.
"Are you allowed-" Runner saw the worker start to pull something from his back pocket.
    2.
    "To be on this property?"
    1.
Runner threw a punch at the agent. He picked his gun up from him and ran toward the construction building.
"This is Agent 404, we have a runner on our hands, repeat, a runner on our hands! I need backup!"
Runner was already on the roof of the building before any backup could get to the area. He jumped across the buildings, pistols drawn. A helicopter flew by him. Runner could hear the blades of the chopper beat the air.
"Put down the package and show your hands where we can see them!", a voice rang out from the helicopter. Runner tried to put his hands to his ears, but he remembered he had the dual M9s in his hands. He shot one of them at the helicopter. The copter answered with a furious onslaught of bullets.
He sprinted away from the helicopter, and jumped onto another building. He was now in the Jewel district. Only 2 more to go.
Agents had already tracked down this rouge and started firing their weapons.
"Agent 23, this is Agent 13. We have the target in our sights." Agent 13 took his M4A1 out and got into a helicopter.
"Get me to the target." He said to the pilot behind his shady sunglasses.

Runner had passed the Jewel district into the Finacial district. He knew he had to be careful here. Agents swarmed the area, to protect the senator in the tallest building.
This was the last district he had to pass.
"This is Neuro, Runner, do you copy, over?" Runner suddenly remembered he had brought his radio.
"This is Runner, the package is almost there, over."
"Listen, Runner. You need to get to the base in less than 20 minutes. The agents have found our base. Hurry, they're converging on your position. Go!"
Runner almost fell off the building while listening. He jumped off the building and grabbed the ledge. He pulled himself up, only to see Agent 13 looking at him.
    "Goodbye, freerunner."
Agent 13 stepped on his fingers, and Runner fell.

A few minutes later, Runner awoke. His vision was blurred, and he couldn't feel his legs.
    "Where am I?"
He was in a dumpster. He could still deliver the package He had 15 minutes.
Runner got up, and ran down the alleyway. His left leg hurt like hell. 13 minutes.
He could faintly hear a helicopter buzzing above him like an annoying pest. He reached for his guns, but only found one. Agents were running down the way he wanted to go, and the best option was to run and gun.
Runner ran in the opposite direction and fired his weapon. At least 5 agents fell down in the process. He felt sharp pains in his body as the agents returned fire, and he saw blood dripping from his body. He turned and headed through a crowd of people. Agents cleared the area, looking for the freerunner. But he was gone. He disappeared. 10 more minutes.

Runner got to the base. He tenderly placed the backpack on the ground and fell on the floor less carefully. Things were happening at once. He was placed on a strecher, and he saw Neuro talking to a man with an eyepatch.
    "He'll be ok, right, Johnny?"
"Get him to the medic. Place explosives throughout our base. We need to find another HQ. If the kid makes it, make sure you tell me."
Runner knew he had done his job well. He just hoped he could make it to see the Resistance win the battle. 1 more minute.
Runner could hear the base blow up behind them in the car.
