Nothing actually, considering all of us are. Nevertheless, think. Add something there, make something happen. Death? No, we all die. What about its opposite, life? Sweet, sweet, life. No. We all contain life in our bodies. You think this is just some petty questionnaire, right? Wrong. But...mix life and death together. You might have something now. Maybe your brain has already assumed where this is going, right? Oh, vampires. Already been done. A million times. Well, actually, wrong again. No, immortality is it, but not in that form. And it's a faint immortality. 'Tis far from an eternity with bloodsuckers. Not werewolves, either. It's something never heard of, never even dreamed of.
    It's, actually, a totally new thing. Ever heard of drainers? No? Well, they're all around you. They're actually healthy existences. You know how trees give you oxygen? Well, drainers just make you tired when they get hyper, and make you hyper when they get tired, but it's randomized. The power is unstable. It sounds stupid, but it's true. You could be a drainer, without knowing it. No one knows.
    Now, that one person i was talking about; may she be introduced?
    Yes, her name is Merlei Washington. And no, she's not related to any Washington you know. Or at least, we don't know. She's a citizen of Long Beach, California. Her existence, however, has been erased in every recourse but one place.
    Yes, according to the CA Scientific Institute, I'm an awakened drainer. I, Merlei, can control my drainer powers. I still have my moments where I don't know what my power is doing, but most of the time, I'm fully aware of my actions. It's amount. It's usage. And it's victim. I think it might come in handy.
