    "Cariline!!!" The ugly beast was demanding at mother again. I rolled over in my bed and hoped it would just stop. I heard a loud thump and mother crying in pain as he yelled "I told you to go get me that ******** Lemonade woman! Are you damned deaf!?" He struck across the face 3 times as I heard her open their room door. She got halfway down the sairs and paused for a moment. "Don't make me come down there Cariline!" he yelled as I haerd her pouring some juice. when she returned it was quiet, for a little while anyway.
    "You can't do anything right can you woman? Well..clean yourself!" I could smell ...blood.

    "ouch!" I whimpered pulling my bleeding foot out from under the running water. "It hurts! make it stop Adam!!!" I struggled around as he pulled into his lap. "Sweety, if you'd let me do this it wouldn't hurt anymore." He smirked and shuved my foot back under the water.
    the stinging pain was unbarable. "then amputate my foot and cut if off!!!!"


    The nurse walked in finally. "what happened lydia?" She had her nose up again as she judged me some more. I played with my finger and stared at my foot. "Well ma'am-" "she didn't mean to do it" Adam smiled and kissed my cheek.
