• "Yuna, darling are you okay?"
    "G-grandma what are these two old guys doing here?"
    They gave me a surprised look.
    "Darling I think you should sit down."
    "No tell me whats happening grandma."
    "Yuna please ju-"I cut here off before she could finish and I felt this strange feeling of anger boil through me and I knew if she didn't tell
    me soon I was really going to freak out.
    "Grandma if you don't tell me now im really going to freak!" I said in a calm but stern voice.
    "Darling these nice men are here to take you to the Lunar Academy."she said in a calm and soft voice.
    I could finally feel the anger boil over me and I was ready to scream. So I tried to stay calm and let only a little anger come out at a time.
    "Grandma you said I would be training here with you and I would never have to leave the place were mom's memories are not a blur of the past.
    "Yuna you have to let go of your mother and move on. Your skills are very important right now."
    And that was my breaking point .I could feel the hot tears stream down my face and I finally had to let my anger escape.
    "NO! YOU CANT MAKE ME LEAVE!! YOU JUST CANT GRANDMA!!!"I said through sobs and shot a nasty glance at the old men.
    "You can't make me go with these old haggers!" and after all that I could finally feel my self calming down but I was still alert. Then
    grandma spoke in a loud voice.
    "Yuna Bluejay you have no right to talk to your grandmother that way!" Her words made me wince and stagger back a little.
    "But grandma yo-"she broke me off before I could finish.
    "You have been having those dreams again haven't you."
    I froze. I could feel the room get very cold.
    "H-How did you know?" I could feel my legs getting weaker by the moment.
    "Im your grandmother. I know everything and right now the academy needs you." she said in soft words.
    I really didn't know what to do. Grandma was just to powerfull for me to even argue, and I knew that there was no use trying.
    I was really confused so all I could do was whipe my tears from my rosey cheeks and nod. And that was when my gut was telling me that I could
    not disobey my grandma and I had to do what she said. I also thought that I was definetly not going to leave my mother in the blur of
    the past. I just couldn't. I really needed to talk to someone.
    "Okay I undetstand but can I go up to my room for a while to you know...Let all this new sink in?"
    "Okay,but are you sure-"
    "I'll be fine" There was a pause.Then she nodded yes.
    As I ran to my room I could smell my moms favorite blueberries from her blueberry boosh
    linger into the hall. I couldn't stand the idea of leaving this place but I had no other choice. Either go or get dragged out. I opened my door to
    my room and as hard as I could I slamed it shut. I sat in my room and took out my summonig gem.
    Its a gem my dad gave me to summon
    Knight and Luna if I ever needed them for battle,training or to talk to someone, since Knight and Luna were my most closest friends.
    Amazingly they could talk (well all the partners the gods gifted you with could talk but when I figured that out I totaly freaked) but
    now im glad they could talk.
    So who would I summo? Knight was a little to big to summon to my room so I would summon Luna. So I began my chant
    with the summoning gem in my hand.
    "Oh godess of wolves I Yuna summon my faithful partner Luna to this world." I sat there for a moment
    thinking how corny my chant was and of course nothing happened.
    "Damnit!! Stupin summoning gem!" Hell, this thing was a peice of crap. My dad told me that it wouldn't last long and I would have to get a new one.
    "That damn old man, why would he give it to me if he knew that it wouldn't last long?!Uhhg!"
    So I threw it across the room and thought of one other solution. I would have to call Berett.
    Haha that was such a funny name.
    I hung out my window and started to wistle the tune of ferrets. (Yes there are creatures like that who can also talk. Berret is a loyal
    friend to my dad so my dad tought me Berret's calling whitsle so I could call him if I needed him.) And what do you know he came flying from
    the sky landing in my room, on the floor.
    "What was that for Idiot. I was just taking a nice nap and you had to fly me from my wonderful dream, slamming me to your floor."
    He gave me a glare and I tried not to laugh at the way his fur was messed up on his head and face to make him look like a rapid
    squirrel. His fur was as
    silver as the moon at night, which I loved about him the most.
    He scuried up my desk and started shaking his handlike paws in a boxing position and started moving forward and back like
    he was ready to hit me and that was all I could take.
    I fell on my bed and started laughing so loud that I swear my grandma was
    about to come up stairs to see what was so funny. Berret gave me another glare and fixed his fur.
    "So what do you want brat?" He asked as he was pating his silver fur.
    "My summoning gem is worn out and wont work. So I was wandering if you could help me summon Luna?"
    "Sorry kid but I cant." he said as he was licking his back to get the knots out of his fur.
    "Why not?"
    "Cause Luna is scouting the boarders of heaven making sure no demons have a place to get in."
    "What? So your saying that I cant summon her until shes done?"
    "Why dont you summon Knight?"
    "Because hes too big and if I summon him he will probobly destroy the whole house." I said with a sad look on my face.
    "Then why dont you talk to the almighty wise and handsome Berret!" He said as he scrunched up his arms to make it look like he had muscles.
    I tried not to laugh."Because your a guy."
    "Doesn't mean I cant listen." I thought about it for a while and told him about me going
    to the Lunar academy today.
    "I see, well I alreay knew that was going to happen."
    "What! You knew it was going to happen! How?" I tried not to sound angry but I knew I hadn't succeded.
    "It dosn't matter kid but you have to go to that academy. Your in danger."
    "How am I in danger?"And as I was rethinking what I had said. I was really sounding like one of those stuck up girls whinning.
    I had to sit back down when Berret met my gaze with cold look in his eyes that made me shiver. His eyes said that I had to listen to what
    he said like everyone else. I couldn't belive a ferret could make me listen to them. I was really getting sick of the "You best listen" look.
    "Yuna, right now I cant explain any of this to you but you have to go to the academy whether you like it or not."
    I opened my mouth to argue but before I could get a single word out of my mouth he was gone. Soon later that afternoon my grandma told
    me to start packing and get ready to go but the old hagger said I didn't need to pack anything, and before I knew it we were already out the
    door. I gave grandma a big hug and waved good-bye out the carriage that would bring me to a place where my life would never be the same.
