• When people look into Lilian's eyes they see nothing just a black hole waiting to swallow them up for her eyes are as black as her mother's heart. Her hair reminded people of an untamed fire, for it's as fiery as a bonfire and touched her waist. Her skin makes people who stare at it think of metal when it's hot enough to melt, for it's as white as freshly fallen snow.
Lilian descended from a line of elements. It's said that her line literally were elements that took human form and lost the memory of ever being elements, and couldn't remember how to change back.

    **********************

Lilian was up with the moon like she usually was. She sneaked into the woods to fire-use, no one except her knew what she could do and she wanted it to stay that way.
When she reached her usual clearing she first made a fiery bird fly around, then the images came fast: a dog, a tiger, a handsome boy. The boy stayed the longest as she stared at it with longing.
Then she went into a power boost. She sang a song while making images appear. "Birds fly with their wings reaching as far as the elements." her beautiful voice snag as she made more birds appear and fly around her. "Her beauty brings longing." her voice echoed turning the birds into a beautiful woman who danced around. "People who see weep." fiery tears fell around the dancing woman. "Flowers spring up and grow." as she finished her song the fire died, and became flowers that spread their petals.
The beauty she had just made always left her breathless, but this time she didn't have time to be breathless, someone had watched her fire-use.
"Demon from hell!" yelled a men who had left his house in search of his dog.
    "No! You misunderstand!" Lilian cried.
The man crossed himself as he ran to tell the village.
Lilian ran after him. He couldn't tell her adoptive parents. They were the only ones who ever loved her. "Please don't!" she screamed.
The man had made it to the leader's, which just happened to be her father, house. The leader came out of his hut, listened to the hysterical man, looked at Lilian, and almost started to weep.
"You don't understand." she whispered. Then her fury at the man overcame her, and she decided to make them feel her pain.
She used fire to make duplicates of them, and they stood stricken at the people who were so detailed it looked like they were staring into a mirror.
Lilian walked through the fiery figures, past the men, went to her room which she shared with her stepsister Vivian, changed into a small black dress that went to her knees, and left the house. The men looked at her short dress with a shock for a woman was to never wear something that short.
Lilian walked into the woods never to return to the village again.
The was soon tired, and aching. When the cold hit her and her short dress she called fire to surround her in flames that would not burn, and keep her warm.
She came upon a town, and bid the flames farewell. She walked into the town at daylight.
She met a man who was around her age, and handsome. "Hello?" she asked hesitantly.
"Hello, miss." he smiled at her, and paid no attention to the short garment.
"What is your name?" she asked him.
"I am called Aiden. And you, beautiful maiden."
Lilian's cheeks turned very slightly pink because no one had ever called her pretty before let alone beautiful. "I am called........." she couldn't be called by her original name. "Tana. It means 'fire goddess.'" she blushed more at the fact she was taking the name of a goddess.
"It fits its owner. Almost as beautiful too."
"Thank you, Aiden." his name fell off her tongue in a fashion that made her like him more.
    "You are welcome."
"Do you believe in the Elements?" she asked abruptly before she could bite her tongue.
    "I do."
    "I agree."
    "In fact I'm..........nothing."
"You're one?" hope filled her soul.
"Yes, Earth. My real name is Damek."
    "I'm fire."
    "Show me, please."
And with a whisper of words she made a stream of fire flow past them and you could see little fire fish swimming around as if they didn't ha care in the world. Tana made them disappear, and looked up to see Damek's face aglow.
"No you must show me." she smiled.
Damek winked, and a huge block of rock came out of the ground. Pieces fell off and formed a statue of Tana. Every detail was there, and she felt as if the rock was a better Tana than her!
"Earth came to me last night." Damek said as the rock fell into the earth again.
    "Did he say something?"
    "Yes."
    "What?"
"We must find the rest of the element people, air and water, so we can save the world."
    "From?"
    "The Elements."
