• It was a seemingly normal day for the students of Domino High. The autumn leaves cracked and fell off of the trees and onto the cold cement. The bell of the school rang, meaning it was time to go home. Everyone exited the building, some alone and some in groups. It was the day of the dead. Halloween. Everyone dashed to their homes, set out their candy bowls and tried on their costumes. Waiting for the pitch black to go out and trick or treat. Some teenagers met up in an alley at around 8 oclock to go trick or treating. "Hey Yug, guess who I am?" a blondie asked Yugi Mutoh. "Um... Frankinstein?" he joked. Jounouchi folded his arms. "Ha ha, very funny! And who are you supposed to be?" he huffed. "I'm being the Dark Magician." Yugi replied. "Are we all ready yet?" Kaichi asked, folding her arms. They all nodded and went trick or treating.

    The full moon glistened and shone above the night sky. Some children TP'ed and egged houses and old men and ladies were hollering at them. Meanwhile, Honda, Jounouchi, Yugi, Ryo and Kaichi were all behaving like nice little young adults. They had a bag full of candy by 8:30 but wanted to go to a few more houses. By the fifth house, they stopped. They saw a house that looked old and it's been egged and TP'ed all around it. Even the inside. They all stood wide eyed at the creepy house. Some other bigger teenagers stood behind Ryo and screamed. They all jumped and screamed to see the school bullies. 'Aw, not THESE dudes...' Jou thought to himself. One of the bullies went up to Ryo and poked his stomach. "You, if you and your geek squad don't want to be slaughtered, you'd better go in that house n' see if it's full of candy." Kaichi ran up to them and pulled Ryo out of the way. "He'll never go in for you clowns!" she snapped. The bullies behind him 'ooo'ed. The main bully folded his arms. "What part of, 'I'll slaughter you' do you not understand?" he made his hand into a fist. They all gulped. "I can stand up to you morons..." she growled. She looked to her left to see Ryo, but didn't. He was walking up the steps to the creepy old house.

    "Ryo!" Yugi shouted. The bullies grinned. "Yeah! 'Lil man!" they shouted. Ryo paused at the steps. I can't let my friends get beaten up, not on Halloween... he thought. Ryo took a deep breath, and slowly opened the creeky door. "H-hello?" he whispered. He then, found a bowl of candy. He gasped and grinned. "I found the candy!" he yelled. The bullies hooted and cheered. "Yeah! Way to go 'lil man!" He ran over to the candy and grabbed the bowl. One of the bullies snickered and walked to the door and slowly closed it. "Happy Halloween, scardey cat..." "Ryo!" Kaichi and the others ran to the house but were being held back by the other bullies. Kaichi yelled, "Don't worry Ryo! Just stay downstairs!"

    Ryo's breathing was fast and he was standing by the door, waiting to get out. He heard screamings from the upstairs and bangings from down below. he started to cry and shouted, "I wanna go home!" Kaichi growled and pulled. "Let me go! Let Ryo go!" She yelled. The bully held her wrists tighter. Ryo then heard someone calling him. It sounded soft. "Do not be afraid of me, Ryo... Just follow my voice..." Ryo stopped crying for a little and started to make his way twords the voice. He stopped to see a small girl sitting down, wearing an angel costume and sniffling. He walked over to the girl and knelt down to her height and layed a hand on her shoulder. "Are... You okay?" he asked her. She smirked.

    From outside, they all heard a shriek. It sounded like Ryo's british voice. "Oh no!" Jounouchi shouted, quickly thinking, he kicked the guy holding onto him and ran in the house. "Go Jounouchi!" shouted Yugi. He looked around for Ryo in the pitch black house. he walked into a room and saw Ryo lying flat on the floor with two red dots on his neck followed by blood trickling down them. Jounouchi gasped and flipped him over on his back. Ryo's eyes were shut. "Ryo, speak to me buddy..." One of Ryo's eyes twitched and he slowly woke up, his eyes were bloodshot. "Yo, you okay?" he asked him. Ryo mumbled the word, 'B-blood..." Jounouchi looked confuzed. "Huh?" he whispered it more clearly. "Blood... I need blood..." a fang started to grow and he no longer had pupils. "Oh my god..." Jounouchi dashed out of there as fast as he could.

    "Run!!! Run!!!" the group outside heard. Then, they saw Jounouchi run out of there shouting the word, 'Run' over and over again. "Run from what?" Yugi asked. Then, they saw Ryo. He had an evil smirk and he looked like he had no eyes. "Ryo!" Honda shouted, running to him. Ryo's smirk was even wider. He grabbed Honda, a fang slowly growed in Ryo's mouth and he bit Honda's neck, sucking some blood out of him, and something else. It didn't look like blood, it looked like wind. Visable wind. And something dark was transfered into him. It was dark wind. Kaichi and Yugi gasped. The bullies turned pale and ran off. "Hondaaa!" Yugi shouted. Ryo slowly came out of his neck and licked the blood off of his fang. Honda fell to the floor. Ryo grinned and looked down at Honda. Kaichi and Yugi slowly got up from the ground and ran off. Ryo looked at them running off and demoniclly whispered, "Foolish children... No one can escape a demon..." he took Honda by the wrist and woke him up. Honda's eyes were pupilless and he was blood-hungry.

    Ryo pointed to the two escaping victims and growled, "I'll take care of those two, you take care of the blonde..." he started to chase after Yugi and Kaichi at full speed. Honda scanned the skies for Jounouchi.

    Honda smirked when he saw Jounouchi taking a breather. Honda landed in front of his victim and lunged at him. Jounouchi gasped and dodged. Jounouchi started to run again with Honda after him.

    Yugi and Kaichi were still running with Ryo behind them. He lunged on Kaichi and smirked. Kaichi screamed. "Yugi! Run! Don't worry about me!" he bit into her neck and started to suck and transfer. Yugi looked behind, then continued to run.

    Jounouchi started running again and Honda was close behind. His fear was so strong, that Honda snickered. He was stronger and more determined. He leapt on Jounouchi. Jou's arms were pinned to the floor. "Get ready to become a demon, small child..." Honda smirked.

    Yugi was out of breath when he reached his house. "I... Can't believe it... All of my friends. Gone..." he whispered. He heard demonic chuckles around him. "Who... Who's there?" he started getting goosebumps. Then, Kaichi, Ryo, jounouchi and Honda were surrounding him. Their pupils gone and two holes in their neck. Yugi gasped and screamed as Jounouchi lunged to bite him.

    Each Halloween night in Domino City, the children are lured into the haunted house and suffer the consiquences that these children suffered... Some live throughout the night, but most, are unlucky... Have a scare-tacular Halloween... If you dare...
