• "I guess intros are in order. Zeratul of the Dark Templar, Lin of the Twelfth Rubinelle battalion, and Gage of the Lazurian army." James said, pointing to each person in turn. At last I remembered those two.
"So it looks like this freak has been drawing in a lot of people and species..." I muttered.
"Indeed. He dragged me and Gage here rather quickly after we found the message..." Lin said, her eyes cold a piercing. Gage was cool and calm, laying out a map.
"This is a map we've constructed of the surrounding area..." Gage said.
"That's the oasis we found you kids at." James said, pointing it out. I then pointed to a speck across the heated ridges we'd run across.
"That's an old ruin... What happened there?" James asked.
"Predators happened. We'd been sheltering there when they found us. We had to scramble over these ridges to get to the oasis... Took us half the night of hard running." I said, "You'd do well to erase that speck."

The meeting was mostly informing us of the stations supplies and local landmarks. The ridges were the Fire Range, and the name couldn't have been more accurate. We listened intently, hoping to learn more about why we were all dragged here. Then James turned to us.
"We've got room for two more, if you wanted to stay here... You'd have to earn it, but if you could escape a pack of predators, I think you'll fit right in." He offered. Yoko and I looked at each other, and nodded. There was no need for words, we knew what the other was thinking.
    "We're in." I said.
"Good... I'll get you set up in the barracks..." James started, but a soldier burst in.
"Commander Raynor! Scouts are saying a group of Zerg are just north of us and coming in fast!" He shouted.
