• "Okay boys" Cpt. Bob Winters announced "We will be going on a possibly suicidal mission into Haven. Do any one have an objection."
    No one answered but most started grinning. Then out of nowhere the ship started to rock. Men were tossed into the walls. "Into the pods!" Cpt. Winters shouted.
    We all jumped into the pods. I activated the launch sequence and was dropped into hell. A laser tore through space and a pod exploded and sent mines carrening into the atmosphere. More lasers came and I started slowly to drift into unconciosness. The pod hit a mountain hard and then went through a building before it came to rest.Then I blanked out.
