• Chapter 2:Getting To Know Camp
    I smiled nervously at them one had long jet black hair with pale skin, the second with short orange hair and tanned skin and the third with blond hair slicked back into a pony tail. "Now play nicely girls"Tululah said shutting the door behind her "Hi" I said plainly "Hi" They all replied "I'm Darcy" I said awkwardly "I'm Delilah" The black headed one said "Farrah" said the red headed girl "Lucy" The blond one said lastly "There's also Penelope but she's over at her "boyfriends" cabin" Farrah said they all laughed "You can sleep here" Lucy said pointing to the bed opposite her "Thanks"I said as I dropped my bag on the bed and sighed "Soo what are you here for?"Delilah asked "Oh"I said "My Mum wanted some "alone time" with her new boyfriend" they all laughed and smiled at me "I'm sure you're going to fit in just fine" Lucy said to me.

    Next thing I knew I was being whisked out the door to be shown the camp by my three room mates."That's the girls toilets"Farrah said pointing to a concrete building with tags all over the side "By the way always check the walls up above the toilets sometimes the boys like to get a bit of a view" Lucy added quickly. They continued along the path until they came to a large building in the middle of the field "This is the mess hall, come and see!"Delilah said pulling my hand towards the entrance door. Inside were groups of boys and girls her age talking, laughing and dancing "See the girl with the curly blond hair and the sour looking face?" Lucy said I nodded there was a girl surrounded by groupies leaning against the far wall with her nose upturned and her lips pursed "That's Samantha stay away from her and don't get her upset or it might be the last thing you ever do" Farrah said quickly "Moving on" Delilah said.

    As I was lead around the grounds laughing and quickly building friendships with my room mates a school like bell rang throughout the grounds I looked to Farrah for guidance she quickly replied "Dinner time". We made our way up to the dining hall where we sat down at a small six seater table "Penelope!" Delilah called and waved a girl with curly black hair down to her shoulders walked over to their table "Meet our new roomy Darcy" Lucy said "Hi" I said nervously "Ha I knew we'd get a pretty room mate this time" Penelope said as she reached out and grabbed my hand she shook it tenderly "Er thanks" I said sitting back down "Oh its just that our last room mate Louise, had loads of pimples,glasses and braces and used to boss around and stuff she was basically the Queen of the camp" Farrah filled me in after our meals came out and we began to eat. I had to admit it was waaaaay better than Mums cooking.
