THE LYCAN PENS
Whiet snuffled at her new wounds, studiously ignoring the guards, lousy leeches, she thought venomously, although she never said it out loud, it would get her a lot worse than bored vamps pressing their glowing cigarette butts into her back.
Vampires now ran the world, and the lycans were forced into concentration camps, doing all the dirty work, while the vampires just kept up the act that they were actually helping someone other than themselves. And guess who helped them? More than one werewolf had bitterly questioned, who else, but the lycan’s so called allies, the Light. So, the Dark creatures were thrown in as well.
Whiet was awakened from her uneasy sleep, and herded into a courtyard for food. The vampire warden stood above them, beside them, the Light warden, both standing behind a thick pane of glass, gloating in their office. Finally, the guards stopped prodding her in the back with the silver rods they carried, and she looked up. The courtyard also served as the graveyard, Whiet saw fresh graves, each only marked with a metal rod, silver for werewolves, iron with holy symbols for Dark. The vampires started rambling on about loyalty, disloyalty, and science, basically a bunch of crap. Whiet looked over and grinned at a familiar face. Gerard smiled tightly back. She remembered ever since Gerard tried to escape, they had put some holy symbols on his collar. Whiet had helped him, so she got silver implanted on her collar. But, she knew why they hadn’t pierced her with pure silver, or tattooed Gerard with holy symbols. Because-even if no one really knew how-they were special. Whiet had dark, Caribbean skin and platinum-silver dreadlocks, in her human form. She smiled as she remembered her days as the White Specter, the most feared werewolf pirate, ever.
But she didn’t know anything about Gerard. He had pale blond hair, wavy and spiky, and a small goatee. He had light, purple-blue skin, three red eyes, one lengthwise on his forehead, and pointed ears.
She knew that wasn’t what he really looked like, when he got angry, occasionally claws, wings, or a scaly tail would come out. The subject of her study looked over and grinned painfully, and a guard casually prodded him with a talismanic stick. He winced, and his disguise wavered, Whiet saw a dark shape, before it reverted back to a haggard looking Gerard.
Then the power went out.
Vampires started yelling to each other, and slowly, a full moon crept out from behind the clouds. The silver implants dug painfully into her neck, as she felt all her internal switches being flipped toward “wolf”.
The full moon transformation was the most powerful one, so the vampires came up with a practical-and stupid- idea. Fill the air with clouds and lights. Whiet’s changing face broke into an insane grin, splitting her face in half with a forest of teeth.
Gerard knew about werewolves. He knew about the control, killing, trapping, and full moon transformation. He also knew that the vampire guards were now helpless, and should be afraid. But, he had no idea why Whiet was long and lupine, with human like claws, a long lashing tail, growing spikes on the end, or why she was ten feet tall-and still growing. This must be why she was special, He thought, as he was mercilessly pushed to a wall by the rest of the vampire guards pouring in, wildly swinging their silver rods at the monster, that, Gerard mused hopefully as a bunch of vampires went flying over the high wall circling the camp, was still his friend, and would transform back soon.
He darted up the wall, gripping the smooth wall slightly with his hands and feet. Ducking as another group of guards went flying, Gerard silently made his way across the courtyard’s wall, where he had seen other prisoners. Landing lightly, he glanced around. A door hung open slightly, but none of the other inmates could be seen. His third eye twinged, and he looked at the door again. Strange, he thought as he peered into a stone corridor, with another door hanging open, I’ve never noticed this. He put a cautious foot into the hall, and threw a glance over his shoulder at Whiet. Less than half of the guards remained, and dropping, as she would contemptuously flick her spiked tail at them, and send another group over the wall. She was also at least seven stories high, and he could see her trembling as she continued growing.
That’s my girl, he thought with a smile, as he continued down the hall and through the door. Beyond that was another corridor, this one white and sterile, continuing on straight line, down to a huge set of double doors. Carefully standing to one side, Gerard opened one side a crack. His third eye twinged again, indicating there was no one there.
Ever so slowly, he stepped into a vast room. He swallowed, waiting until the noise of his footstep died away, and placed another foot on the metal bridge, overlooking a cavernous room, all sterile and white.
Gerard was looking at a lab.
He clapped his hand over his nose, hoping to block out the smell of cleaning liquids, and barely concealed body fluids. Glancing left and right, he pulled himself above the railing, and jumped in a wide arc, landing on all fours. His third eye suddenly, almost twisted in pain, and with inhuman speed, Gerard ran and ducked behind a cabinet, one of the many in their neat rows. Peeking around the side, he pointedly ignored the spasms of pain going through his fore head. At the far end of the room, a group of figures in white coats, were bent industriously over a surgical table, a bright halo of light illuminated them from a hospital lamp above them.
The figures never turned as he crept closer. Judging from the snipping sounds coming from the table, what they were doing was far from innocent. Gerard vaguely wondered who the poor sap was. Soon, he was only two tables away. The snipping noises were growing unbearable. Quietly, Gerard raised his head above a table, silently palming a long surgical knife. Pulling his head down, he painstakingly slipped across the hall, ducking behind another cabinet. The snipping never stopped. Straightening up, he nonchalantly walked up to one of the figures, and casually ran him through. As he fell, the others looked up and stared at the escaped inmate with three eyes, gripping a surgical knife in a clawed hand, like sneaking into random laboratories was the most was the most normal thing to do. It took a total five seconds for it for it to sink in and they took off screaming. As Gerard cleaned off the knife with a cloth, he heard the sound of when you hit a piece of meat with the flat side of a knife, and more screaming.
He grinned cheerfully, they ran into Whiet. He then carefully set his knife down, and lifted the cloth covering the poor sap. The blanket landed heavily, and his knife dropped with a ringing sound-like a bell. Gerard continued to stare, frozen.
“Hey, Gerard, you okay?”
Whiet stuck her huge lupine head through the door, and in any other situation, Gerard would have found Whiet’s high, musical voice coming out of a monstrous forest of teeth funny, but he ignored her, and stood frozen in front of the operating table. Because on the table, was a small, thin, alien, who looked exactly like the stereo-typical green ones Whiet had seen on things before she had been caught. The alien opened it’s eyes and chirped, that suspiciously sounded like, “hello”. With a noise similar to the blanket, Gerard fell back in a dead faint.

- Why thank you, you're the first person to respond in a long time. I like punctuation. It makes sure this stays away from that.
