• Chapter 13 - Tetsuya
    The Result

    I weeped in the ambulance as they continued to operate. Alyss had a pulse, yes, but may not awaken for months. I gathered my every last bit of strength to see the lifeless face of the girl I loved. "Please Alyss..! Wake up...!" The doctors pushed me back and one approached me. "Ahem. This girl is ...?" I knew the answer immediately. "Alyss. Alyss Rea Morano." He wrote on his clipboard he now had. "You know her...?" "Yes! Of course I do! Shes ..." I was about to say my best friend, but decided to say what was in my heart. "Shes my girlfriend!" He nodded at me and left giving the driver the information. I slumped against the wall. I could hear the sirens and the cars stopping for us. What's Sara doing now..? I wondered. She had seemed out of it after Alyss fainted. I cried silently again, until I was tapped on the shoulder, the way Alyss has done for years. "We're here sir." I got up and wiped my eyes. I nodded and ran to catch up with the doctors. But the person who tapped me grabbed my arm. "I'm sorry.. But you may not see her now. Would you like to stay at the hospital tonight?" The lady asked me sounding sincerely sorry so I agreed. My parents thought I was at Alyss' house anyways. I lay down on the comfortable hospitable bed. Tomorrow, right when I wake up, I will visit Alyss.. I thought before drifting to sleep.

    I woke up at 8:30. I rubbed my eyes, the morning greeting me. I looked to see that I hadn't changed into hospital clothes. I had also slept without a blanket. I shivered and wrapped the blanket on the bed around me. I saw someone peer in through the door quickly, then the door opened. "Um.. Hello. Would you like some breakfast? Visiting hours begin in a half hour." An awkward female voice was coming from the door. "I heard.. about your girlfriend. I'm so sorry.." I heard footsteps and opened the door. I looked right and left but she was nowhere to be found. But she did leave me some breakfast. It was scrambled eggs with 2 pieces of bacon and a glass of juice. I picked up the tray and took it into the room. I picked up the juice and took a sip, to find a note that had a moisture circle on it by the juice.

    Dear Visitor, Thank you for visiting the Rainbow Sun Hospital. Many underestimate us by our name you see, but we are very serious. Your patient: Alyss Rea Morano is in critical state__. Visiting hours begin at 9 AM. Thank you and you will always be welcome. -Staff at the Rainbow Sun Hospital

    I reread the messy handwriting that said critical state. Is she still okay?? I wondered frantically. I ran to her room dropping my piece of bacon I was eating. I found it immediately in a room that said 'Alyss R. Morano : Critical' I saw her lifeless face once more and I felt like my life had been drained. "Alyss... I know you can't hear me. But I've always wanted to say this. I love you. I care for you more then a friend. So please... wake up.." I whispered, tears now streaming once more. Luckily, it was exactly 9. I stayed in her room watching her breathe, but looking as lifeless as the moon. I looked out to see if anyone was outside, and put Alyss on my lap, leaning against the bed.

    Chapter 14 - Sara
    Alyss..?

    What happened? I remember Tetsuya screaming the numbers 911.. I remember telling Alys- Oh right.. Alyss fainted. That's all I remember. I guess all I can do is hope and wait for the best.. But... How do I explain this to her mother and father? And mine and Tetsuya's? How do I get rid of the my best friend now? The monster, my best friend is laughing.. Laughing at my pain and told me to use him. I used him and I did feel better. But I remembered this is why Alyss had gone. I can't stop.. So I keep going.

    Chapter 15 - Alyss
    Empty Dreams

    I remember fainting. Fainting and then I fell into a dark hole. I saw Tetsuya and Sara. Tetsuya was carrying me and I was taken into a hospital.. But then the darkness surrounded me again. They came again, holding hands. "Tetsuya...! I love you!" I screamed. Tetsuya and Sara exchanged glances and laughed. "Alyss.... We're engaged! We are going to get married!" Sara looked at Tetsuya fondly. "He's perfect isn't he?" I glowered at her with anger. "But you know how I felt! You know I loved him!" I screamed even louder. "I knew how YOU felt Alyss, because I listened!" Sara took form of a giant monster and Tetsuya disappeared. "You never tried to understand Alyss! DIE!" She swung her arm on me, about to crush me. "Watch out!" I yelled in fear, as I was taken to safety. "Are you alright?" Tetsuya was carrying me in his arms. He put me down. I nodded. "Listen Alyss, it's not safe. Please hide!" I did as I was told as he calmed Sara down. But Sara was angry and slashed at Tetsuya. "Tetsuya!" I screamed in horror. He had a few markings on his face but that was it. "Alyss... I love you! I care for you more then a friend! So please.. Hold on!" I thought I was hallucinating. But what did he mean by hold on? He slashed at the black walls and sunlight flowed in, destroying Sara. "Tetsuya...!" I ran into his arms, and cried into his chest. "It's okay.. We're fine now." I looked up at his face to see he was smiling at me. "I love you too Tetsuya.. Be mine..!" I leaned in for a kiss and it was passionate. I touched him but he disintegrated. "Tetsuya..?! Sara..?!?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I yelled in fear. I was alone. No one was here in this sunny world but me.
