The sun is a big ball of fire, high in the sky, mocking everybody that doesn't want it there. It's so warm, so...inviting. Did I ask for that?
I sat in my room for hours, shades closed and pillows over my head. I had my mp3 player blasting on full volume to drown out the motors and screaming kids outside. I was so sick of the whole entire world, I just wanted to islolate myself in my own world.
I heard my sister knocking on my door and screaming, "GET OUT!! YOU HAVE TO EAT!!". I ignored her.
I had my own food in my room. 3 bags of potato chips and 4 24-ounce bottles of coca-cola. What did it matter if I ate anyways? Not like I would care if I starved to death.
I loved the quiet. I'd always loved the quiet, the silence. If only the whole world was silent; the whole world could be my playground with nobody to get in my way. Nothing would matter, I would have my own rules and nobody had jurisdiction over what I did with my day.
"In the End" came on my mp3 player.
Ahh, sweet emptiness.

- I do write poems...but I thought that this would be a bit more fun to just write. IDK ^^

- Very emotionally moving. Reminds me of what it's like to wish the world would disappear for some time. Curiosity has the best of me though but, what generally makes you feel this way? I'd honestly suggest writing a poem next time your mood is like this ^^ Would be very interesting if you could.

This is very well written and it's exactly how I feel sometimes as well. The first line was brilliant.
I also commend you on your taste in music. - Report As Spam
