“And as the pod racers round the final bend, it's Anakin Skywalker in front by a sizable margin. Yes, he does it once more. Anakin Skywalker wins yet another amazing pod race!” The announcer spoke into the microphone as the crowd cheered.
“Damn it, Solo! I should never bet against Skywalker, but that man has to lose some time. No one could be as lucky as he is. Speaking of luck, I had better get out of here before mine runs out.”
Han Solo quickly made his way through the crowd and headed to the hanger bay where the Millennium Falcon awaits. Just as he entered the hanger bay, he stopped in his tracks at a sound that sent shivers down his spine.
“Rawr”
“Captain Solo, the mighty Chewbacca has been looking for you. He hopes you were not looking to skip out on your debt.” A gold humanoid droid spoke as turned and saw a nearly seven-foot tall hairy Wookie standing next to the droid.
“Well, about that. You see, I don't exactly have the money on me and I was just going to get it.”
“Rawr”
“Chewbacca says that is not good enough. You will pay or he will rip your arms off and beat you with them. Oh, dear, that sounds painful.”
“Like I said, just give me some time and you'll have your money. Besides, aren't you hot standing here in all that fur? This is Tatooine not Hoth.”
“Rawr.”
“Master Chewbacca says it is quite hot here and he would like to get home.”
“Then don't let me stop him. And who are you to be speaking for him, golden rod?”
“I'm C3PO, human cyborg relations. Master Chewbacca won me from my creator, Anakin Skywalker.”
“Well, that's so nice for you. Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going to board my ship.”
“Rawr.”
“Master Chewbacca says he will be taking your ship as payment.”
“Over my dead body.” Han reached for the blaster that is holstered at his side. Suddenly, he was shot in the back with a laser as another Wookie walked up behind him with blaster in hand.
“Rawr.”
“I'm afraid Master Chewbacca's wife is saying to get on the ship and let's go home. It is too hot here on Tatooine.
“Rawr.”
“What do you mean he is dead?”
“Rawr.”
“Oh, I see.”
With that, C3PO followed Chewbacca and Mallatobuck onto the Millennium Falcon, which took off from Tatooine and headed towards Kashyyyk.
The moral of this story is never cross Mallatobuck, wife of Chewbacca the Bookie.
