• The soft sound of rain, patting against the window. The water streaks down the panel of glass. The reflection of a sad face stares out through the window. A shadow casts over the face.
    "Why am i so depressed?" A soft voice breaks the darkness. " I have every thing a guy could want. A Beautiful girl who loves me, I have the freedom to do what i want."
    I looked out the window just letting the images of her run through my mind. Shes beautiful ya know, I would do anything for this girl, but lately I've been smothering her. i feel her annoyance with me. I know what i have to do but it's just...letting go is too hard for me.
    A small streak of lightning lights up the room. A tall shadow is standing behind him. He drew his sword and sliced threw the darkness. Blood sprayed onto the wall and the dark figured dropped to it's knees.
    "Smile " He drove the blade threw the shadows forehead and it collapsed in a pile of dust.
    " I just got to stop drowning in my own self pity."
    The ring of a cell phone rings out and breaks the heavy silence. He looked at the screen and smiled. He flicked the phone open and put it up to his ear.
    " Ryan? is that you?"
    "yeah, Karen its me."
    "I'm Scared i hear noises outside my room. I think someones watching me"
    " Stay where you are... I'm on my way"
    "Hurry i hate being in the dark alone." *Click
    He flips the cell phone closed and puts in his pocket. He grabs a mask and pulls it over his head, grabs his sword flings it over his back, then runs out into the rain.
    It's so dark out tonight. I always feel a sudden rush of adrenaline sprinting threw darkness. Ryan runs up to a cross street. God its gonna take too long for me to go this way, I'm gonna cut threw the woods　

    "Hello? who's there?" hurry Ryan, please, hurry
    Karen is laying in he bed wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of boxers, wrapped in a fuzzy purple blanket. The door handle jingles and she squeezes a pillow. A tear rolls down her face.
    A Muffled voice gasps on the other side of the door. The voice sends chills down her spine and she closes her eyes tightly.
    " Karen... " The door creaks and something on the other side starts to scratch the wood.
    The door Flies open and her windows shatter. The Cold Rain pelts her back. She screams for her life. A Shadows walks across her wall. Heavy foot steps are heard walking down her hallway. Bats fly into her room towards her and she swats at them as they get caught in her hair. She screams loud but no one hears her pain.
    A Deep Laughter echoes out of her hallway, it grows louder as it got closer to her. Red eyes hover threw the darkness. It makes a high pitched scream and Karen covers her ears, blood seeps through her fingers.
    Lightning flashes and it reveals the creatures face. Scars and open flesh cover its face. Its teeth are razor sharp as it smiles a long tongue falls out of its mouth. It bends over and laughs.
    " I will tear your flesh off your bones and rip your heart out"
    It lunges at Karen. But falls to its knees at Karen's feet. A sword sticking out of its back and Ryan kneeling on it. He rips the sword up and plunges it deeper into the creatures back. The creature turns black and a puddle of blood fades into the carpet. The smell of burning flesh surrounds the room.

    "Enjoy hell..." Ryan rips his mask off and Karen jumps into his arms. He drops his sword and falls back onto her floor.
    "I thought you weren't coming"
    "You know I'm going to be here for you forever babe"
    "I love you Ryan" heart
    He smiles and holds her close. She buries her face in his chest. They fall asleep together on her floor surrounded by broken glass and clothes.
