• 'Rrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggggggggg!' the alarm clock rang loudly. I woke up with a start and with fast movements, I slammed the alarm clock with my pillow, like what I do every morning to stop the alarm clock from ringing. I shuffled to the bathroom, half-awake. After I had finished preparing for school, I carried my haversack and went downstairs, following the delicious smell of eggs and bacon that Mum had cooked for me. I took my time, enjoying my breakfast. By the time I had finished, Dad had already went to work. I waved goodbye to Mum and walked the 3-mile walk to the bus stop where the school bus will stop. When I reached the bus stop, I noticed that something was different. Apart from my other friends, Liam was white and pale. I noticed him sitting alone at one side of the bus stop. I slowly walked over to him, afraid that he would suddenly break into pieces. I knew it was impossible but he just looked so fragile and ghostly. Liam suddenly spun his head to look at me and the look on his face was full of panic. Once he saw me, his panic turned to relief. I carefully sat down beside him. He made no sound as he turned his head to look at the road. 'Hi Liam' I said. He just stared at me but other than that, made no other action. 'Liam..... are you okay?' I asked him. He sighed, 'Yeah, I'm fine.' I didnt trust his statement. His voice was just so tired. There was something different from the strong Liam I knew. 'Liam, tell me what happened yesterday after I left.' I asked. He just sighed again. 'Please...' I pleaded. He took a deep breath and started telling what exactly happened yesterday in his dead and emotionless voice.......
