• Chapter 9

    Adrianna and Cara sitting in the living room while Adrianna told her daughter about her childhood, her powers and about Sir Kip. Cara couldn't accept it since its too bizarre and weird.

    "Mom... u want me to believe that Sir Kip is my spirit guardian... U got to be kidding me." Cara have a hard time to believe her mom.

    "That's the truth, honey." Adrianna.

    "How can I believe that mom? I have a supernatural power when I was a child? That's absurd.... If its the truth then why can't I even remember about these at all?

    "Cara, hun.. I don't know why u can't remember but I have some prove...." Adrianna left the room and came back with an old box. Adrianna opened the box in front of Cara. She took a few of old drawings and pass it to Cara.

    It was a kid drawing. Cara looked at the first drawing and its really familiar to her. She turn it to see her name on the back and realized its her drawings.

    "This is your drawings when u were a child." Adrianna didn't smile. She's not fond of the drawings but she kept them since its a part of Cara.

    First drawing was a teenager with part of his hair is red another part is yellow. Is it blood? Cara thought to herself. He was smiling but Cara wasn't sure it is since this guy shouldn't even be smiling with his condition. There is a scrawl under him like Teddy. She gave her mom a questionably look.

    "Ted Baker was killed by his dad with a hit on the head. His father buried him under the floor in basement." Adrianna looked at Cara and take a deep breath. "Ted came to you for help and you helped to recover his body." Adrianna remembered how hard they tried to convince Mrs Baker and Officer Dean. If it wasn't for Cara singing a silly song made by Ted while he was alive for his mom on a mother day, Mrs Baker might not taken it seriously. They never found the Mr Baker since he ran off with his wife money. It broke her heart to see Mrs Baker crying over Ted's body.

    Cara pulled the second drawing. She couldn't make out what they are. There were like 5 round heads with horn and red eyes. Their body dismembered and there is a guy standing in the middle holding a hammer. There is a scrawl that said Sir Kip. Her eyes widened and looked at her mom.

    "This is Sir Kip and these creatures..." Adrianna point at them. "were the creatures that was hurting you. You told me that Sir Kip came and kill them all." There are times when Cara will have weird unexplained scratches and wounds when she was a child. Its really scare her back then.

    Cara put the arts down after looking at the other drawings. Cara closed her eyes. This is too much for her to take. She has to get out from here. She has to go somewhere where she can think.

    "Mom, I'm going out for awhile." Without giving her mother a chance to speak Cara quickly changed clothes and raced to her car. She wondered where can she go to. She took a deep breath.
