    There is one person who always makes me want to my best. He never gives up-even when everyone looks down on him.

    Naruto.

    I have to gather up my courage and tell him today! He has to go away on a mission to save Sasuke. I know if I never tell him I’ll…become that same weak person who couldn’t stand up for herself.

    “N-Naruto-kun!” Hinata called out as Naruto began to head to the village gates. He turned and grinned widely, “Oh, Hinata-chan! What’s up?”
    Hinata froze and trembled, her face becoming hot. No! she thought, I-I can do this!

    She shook her head determined,”N-Naruto-kun, I-I-I-!”

    “Naruto! Hurry up! It’s time to go!”

    Naruto turned to yell into the distance, “Okay, Sakura-chan! Just a minute!”

    Naruto looked back at Hinata, her face a light red. She closed her eyes and ran to him, hugging him tightly. She felt embarrassed and she trembled a bit, but she spoke, “D-do your best, Naruto-kun!” She just held him, afraid to look up at him.

    Hinata was shocked when Naruto hugged her back tightly and she looked up at him. She gasped, never seeing him like this before- he looked so happy with his slight blush and teary eyes, his trade mark grin bright.

    “Thank you, Hinata-chan! It means a lot to me,” he hugged her again. He let he her go and stood back, grinning happily. He pointed to the sky, ”I’ll bring Sasuke back and become Hougake! Believe it!”

    Hinata was shocked, but she then smiled softly. Her eyes filled with tears because she had always loved and admired that about Naruto.
    She placed her hands nervously in front of her, “Hm-mm!”

    “Naruto, move it! It’s time to go!” Sakura called out.

    “Ok, I’m coming!” He then turned to Hinata, “Bye, Hinata-chan! I’ll be back, even cooler than before!”

    His trademark grin and laugh appeared making Hinata smile and laugh. He patted her head which caused her to blush and he ran off to the gates.

    She placed her hand on her head where Naruto had touched her and smiled even more, blushing.

    “N-Naruto-kun, you don’t need to be even cooler. You’ve always been the coolest ninja to me.”
