I couldn’t help but think about todays past events. There was something different about Cory, and I couldn’t put my finger on it. I mean, I knew he was not exactly a normal guy, but I’ve never been able to figure out what it is that made him not normal. Why was he so calm? Usually he was way too uptight. Then again, maybe it was just me. I’m probably clinically insane as it is.
I turned on the TV and fell asleep somewhere close to 2 AM-ish. I knew that because my dream certainly could have not been true.
It started off with Davey and I walking towards the collage apartment buildings to see Cory. Then all of a sudden it started to down pour, so I picked up Davey and carried him as fast as I could to the nearest tree to seek shelter. Lightning struck everywhere including the tree we were standing under. It started to crash down upon us when a sudden figure came out of no where, and I felt at ease. As if this person was some sort of angel that was going to save us. The tree was thrown away from where we were. The angel turned to us, and as to my surprise it was my beloved Cory. In a matter of seconds Cory turned into something dark and scary. The feeling of ease quickly turned into fear. It was no longer the Cory that I had known. His razor sharp teeth filled his mouth as he smiled. It wasn’t his smile. It was no longer his face, but now he was unfamiliar man that stood before me. I started to panic and run away from the man, but everywhere I went he was soon there. I screamed for help to find that my voice was not my voice. I was a different person, and my Davey was not there. The clothes I wore were out of date, and so were my surroundings. The white dress I wore seemed to have blood and mud all over it, but I was not bleeding. I was no longer standing in the middle of the red brick path, but in mud. The dark stranger that had saved me suddenly held me by the throat. I gasped for air, but it was not in my reach. I found myself clenching the hands of the stranger attempting to pull them away from my throat. Kicking him had no affect, but I was not ready to give up. It had felt as if I had lost everyone I had ever loved to this creature, but I still strived for my life. He lightened his hold as he spoke to me.
“I shall not kill thou if you hereby pledge to be my mate. I will give you an everlasting life. Nothing can ever kill thou, but another of our kind. Which will thou choose life or death?” His voice was low and smooth with a British accent.
“Death.” It was not me who was controlling the words. “Thou have killed everyone who I had ever loved. I could not ever love thou, for my heart lies with my beloved fiancé. We shall rejoice in the heaven above.”
“Thou shall rejoice if you should choose to live as my mate. I shall bring him back for thou in favor of a baby that you will conceive with me. “He looked at me and I nodded. “Are thou ready?
