• Chapter 3: Meetings

    Mitsuki and Arcat meet:

    Mitsuki was at the border of exhaution, she was so scared she couldnt stop running, but after some time she did, she just sit next to a tree to breathe and get some pure air, but then she remembered the terrible discussion between her dad and mom, wich made her tought that someone was searching for her in order to kill her, she started to cry out loud while whispering softly:
    ``why is this happening to me!? why am i different from the other people, why cant i be just... normal!!?´´

    - you are normal in comparation with me... said a soft, shady voice
    - huh? who are you?
    - oh sorry, i have not introduced myself yet, my name is Arcat...
    - please show yourself, will you?

    Suddenly, from the top of the tree Mitsuki was next to, a cat floated down from it, it was a black cat, with a white face and a white belly, his paws where also white, but the most strange things were that the cat was wearing a white hat with red stripes, he also carried a sword in his right hand, and he was covered in a red aura with some sparkles getting out from it...

    ``just look at me, a cat who speaks and wears a weapon and a hat...´´
    Mitsuki screamed by noticing a cat was talking, but it was a cute, adorable cat, so her scream was soft and short...

    - what are you!?
    - im a meego, isnt that obvious? maybe you did not read the book wich is in your castle, thirld pile 9th book...
    - huh, a meego, i think i have heard of your kind, but how did you know all that?

    Suddenly Mitsuki took a close look to arcat, without the hat and the sword, he seemed what once was the pet of her sister, Mitsuki noticed then that arcat didnt seem like her sisters pet, but he once was her sisters pet...
    ``oh my god you are that cat´´ said Mitsuki a bit frightened, Arcat told her all that happened after he escaped from the castle, but it was nothing important, so he asked Mitsuki: `` so, you say you are special... show me ´´

    Mitsuki turned her hand invisible making arcat laugh a bit, he said:
    ``wow, thats totally amazing!´´ with a sarcastic tone, then he made some sparks out of his hand, quickly generating a red lightining orb wich then turned into a fiery lightining bolt that burned a tree wich was strucked by the lightining, amazed, Mitsuki knew she wasnt the only ''freak'' in the world...

    Mitsuki told arcat what his father was planning, and she knew that maybe they would seek Arcat in order to keep him retained in the castle, as the human being had never actually investigated a meego, `` this is not safe ´´ said Mitsuki worried, she grabbed Arcat and turned herself and Arcat invisible, they got to be good friends in very small amount of time they talked, even of their differences, they walked slowly knowing nothing would happen if they were not seen, but that plan wasnt going to work...

    Tommy saves Nabiki:

    ``you finally woke up´´ said a soft, inpacient voice as the poisoning effect of the substance on the dart wich hit Nabiki ended, she was there, sleeping in a log of a broken tree being carefully attended by a boy called Tommy, she reacted quickly and rushed to stand up, but the boy grabbed her and sit her down again, ``my name is Tommy, any thanks?´´ said him with a calm voice

    - oh sorry for my behavior, its just that the hunters are seeking me, its Kitsune season!!
    - well, i got no thanks, but i will be quick, the Kitsune hunting season was a story of your mom and dad to frighten you, theres no such thing as that, they are bounty hunters for the king, they are seeking you for being a kitsune, and me for well, i will show you later, they call us ''specials'' and thay want to exterminate us!, i had to drag you here as they are quickly advancing, we must keep moving on, or we will be dead!!
    - well thanks, but i dont understand, maybe we should just...

    Tommy took her by the hand and they both ran quickly heading north before Nabiki could even finish what she was saying, unfortunately for them Keith was waiting paciently at only 2 kilometers away...

    The meeting at Conifers:

    ``Are we ready to go? i really want that picnic in the plains!´´ said a teenager lycan called Bullet which was hugging Moon, his friend, she was a lycan too, they both seemed like humans except for their pointy ears, Bullet had a sword in his back, in case a vampire tried to attack them, but they planned a nice picnic, ``yes, we should go there right away´´ said Moon, and they both got in Bullets car and drove to the plains, the same ones in which Damijin was, he was scared and alone in those plains, but after looking at the type of atmosphere Conifers had, he noticed his wormholes could have some trouble, so he decided not to try to teleport to another planet, he started thinking in the dilemma, i cant stay here forever, but if i try to teleport by a wormhole maybe it will break half of the way and trap me forever in it!! what to do!? he asked himself, suddenly he saw Bullets car going at high speed through the plains, Damijin couldnt let his only oportunity to get out of Conifers just vanish, so he created a wormhole knowing that nothing would happen if he only teleported inside the atmosphere, he traveled at
    sound-speed through the wormhole ending up in the car´s frontal part, Bullet saw a flash of blackness and then he saw Damijin just in front of him, Bullet stopped swiftly, making Damijin fly away from the car, finally hitting a tree, Moon got out of the car and ran to Damijin, Bullet did too,
    ``what is this thing?´´ he asked, without an answer; after a minute, Damijin woke up and looked around, only seeing Bullet and Moon, he smiled about the fact he could probably find a way out of that planet, although he didnt actually need to, he was a nomad, he had no home or homeworld, Damijin explained how he ended up in Conifers , and after some minutes of talking Moon said:
    `` well if you want you can be in our picnic ´´ Damijin accepted as he was hungry and as he could finally have some friends, they prepared the blanket and started to eat, it was going to be a normal picnic, or that was what they thought...

    The Misunderstanding:

    ``OMG where am I?!´´ asked Nick to himself out loud while staring at the vast flora he was surrounded by, he knew he had being teleported somewhere by the mana overload in his new wand, he got scared, but then tried to relax, ``if i got here, i can return´´, he looked at his wand and then at the mana rings in his arm, he rised his wand above his head and said
    ``teleport!´´ but nothing happened, ``maybe magic words wont work´´ he said, he got angry then he started to swing his wand frenetically ``work,work,work!´´ he said, suddenly, a book appeared in a small explosion of mana, the book was floating in the air, Nick grabbed it amazed and looked at it, the book was a guide to the abilities of his wand, happily, he tried to open the book, but he noticed weird mana locks , suddenly, one of the locks opened and then vanished, Nick tried to open the book again, succesfully, he opened it, but he could only see the first 5 pages, as the mana locks were holding the other ones, he started reading the title of chapter one, it was called ``telekinesis´´, the book said: using telekinesis with mana is simple, just focus on the mana rings in your arms and try to somehow canalize mana to your wand, the mana will create a blue aura around the thing you aimed at, after that simply move your wand in the direction you want the aimed object to go. ``Ok then´´ said Nick closing the book ``lets try it´´, he aimed at a medium-sized rock, then he held tightly the wand while looking at the mana rings, he concentrated on the rings and, suddenly, they started to glow, what he saw next was the blue aura surrounding the rock as the book said, he moved his wand left, making the rock go left, but only half of the way Nick wanted, he tried it again, and again, five times were required for the rock to move the lenght he wanted, ``yes!´´ he said when he managed to move the rock...

    ``Intruder alert´´ said the cold voice of what seemed a robot, Nick turned around noticing a droid aiming at him with a laser gun, ``what the...´´´said Nick being interrupted by the blast of the laser, he quickly moved the rock with his new telekinesis spell, making the laser blast shatter the rock into pieces,
    ``Intruder alert, anihilate´´...
