• "What am I going to do? I'm dead." Alexandria whispers to Lea, who was beside her. They were sitting on a desk in their classroom, a little before school starts, alone.
    Lea didn't dare say a word, she knew what was going to happen to Alexandria, he was going to kill her. Then the door opened and Alexandria's fellow classmates flooded the room, Lea had to leave her now, Alexandria was barely winning the fight to hold back her tears. Lea went to the opposite side of the classroom to take her routine seat.
    Mrs. Haggard came in, surprisingly, she brought a new student. He was wearing a grey hooey, with the hood up, his eyes where completely veiled.
    "Students!" Mrs. Haggard announced "This is your new student, try to keep him alive huh?"
    Everyone's eyes where affixed on the new kid, he didn't say a word, he only walked to his seat and wrote notes. But there was something about him that forced Alexandria to look at him, and she couldn't put her finger on it.
    Class time was now over and the room was empty, but about 5 people, Lea, and Alexandria. Alexandria was packing her backpack for her next class, then the door burst open. Alexandria was scared stiff. It was her x-boyfriend Mike!
    "There you are you little b*tch!"Mike yelled.
    Mike gripped Alexandria by the arms and squeezed her tightly,
    "Nobody breaks up over the phone you stupid b*tch!" Mike yelled once more!
    Alexandria was speechless, she was searching for an explanation, but her tongue was silenced with fear. Lea, seeing her friends distress, ran to her aid. But before she could say a word, Mike had punched her cold onto the floor, as a pool of blood began to emit from her nose. Mike gripped Alexandria once more, even harder than the last time saying,
    "You're so ungrateful, ya know! Do you have any idea what I've gone through for you?!"
    Alexandria, for some odd reason, could only say,
    "but you got, all of those girls pregnant..."
    Mike only grew even more angry, he gripped her so tight that her fingers where numb.
    "I love you, but not what's in you!" Mike said "If you just got rid of it then I would be nicer to you!"
    Alexandria only shook her head, she began to cry.
    "I love you! And Your never leaving me! NEVER!"Mike screamed.
    Alexandria stared at him for a moment, with her eyes full of tears, this all happened within a few seconds. She knew that even in these ten seconds, things have gone from bad to grave. Mike said in anger,
    "I'm not letting you go! even if I have to gut this thing outa ya... it can't live!"
    Mike reached into his pocket and brought out a jagged knife, but before he could do anything with it, he felt a cold hand on his face. Before he could even register what it was, the hand forced him to the ground, and he felt impact on the back of his head. The hand withdrew, but before Mike could even open his eyes, a foot was stepping down on his neck. Mike looked up gagging, saw the most fiery, angry, and fierce eyes that he has ever seen, shrouded by a grey hood. Indeed, it was the new kid.
    "how dare you address a young lady like so, I don't tolerate scum like you. so here's the deal, you stay away from this girl and I won't kill you here and now. long story short, Touch a hair on her head and ill put a bullet in yours, do we understand each other?" the new kid said.
    Mike struggled and cussed at the new kid yelling "She's mine!" and nonsense like so. Only to be punished by increasing pressure on his neck, via the new kid's foot on it. Mike finally had enough, he took the knife in hand and stabbed the new kid in the leg with it.
    The new kid cried out in pain, and wallowed in it. Mike got up, gasping for air, he stood over the bleeding young man, poised to bring the finishing blow.
    He then felt another hand on his. It felt gentle, very gentle but at the same time gripping. Mike turned to see who it was, it was Alexandria, with eyes full of tears and rage. He turned to confront her, only to see that the other four people in the class where beside her. Alexandria said as calmly as she could, but still shaking,
    "I t-think that you should leave."
    Mike replied, "Or What?" he gave a little smirk as he brandished his knife.
    "or you'll rot in juvie for a few years" said a voice behind him.
    Mike turned to see who it was, could it be the new kid? But his thoughts ended there as when he turned, his face met a fist that knocked every bone in his face loose. Mike collapsed on the floor, his knife still in hand and covered in human blood. The new kid limped over to Lea and helped bring her to. But nobody got in his way, as a matter of fact, they where surprised that he wasn't still yelling out in pain, as the blood continued to spurt from his calf. Alexandria asked one of her classmates to get the first aid kit, and as her friend did so, Alexandria went to the new kid and asked,
    "Are you ok?"He looked at her, drawing his eyes away from his leg. He chuckled.
    "I don't really know, I think I might have been jabbed a bit 'eh?" He looked back down trying to apply more pressure to his wound.
    "Are you going to be ok?" Alexandria quickly asked back.
    "hah, I think I might survive, that is, if you can get me a bag of O+ blood, some stitches and a Sponge-bob band aid before I bleed out, then yah, I'll be ok." The new kid said with a smile.
    "Bleed out?" Lea interrupted "like how long do you think?"
    "well seeing as though my primary veins in my leg have been cut, id say, ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, bout 3 min. to live." the new kid said calmly.
    There was only silence as sirens blared outside.
    "You're lucky that the hospital is three blocks down." Alexandria said to the new kid, staring at him.
    "Yup I sure am." he said back still teary from the pain.
    "Can you at least tell me your name?" Alexandria said to the new kid.
    "Of course! My name is Nathan what's yours?" Nathan replied
    "Oh, I'm Alexandria, pleasure t meet you."
    the following month was the following:
    Mike goes to Court facing charges of battery, and armed assault.
    Nathan recovers from his injury and continues on with life.
    Alexandria and Lea are still friends....
    ....but Nathan and Alexandria can only be spoken about as acquaintances, they never really hung out all that much....
