• You would think most twenty-one year olds would forget about fairy tales, forget and give up on. No prince charming is going to save you from a low priced apartment building. But for one girl she never stopped believing.
“Alexia?” Alexia is a tall skinny girl with brown highlights in her dark black hair; she has hazel eyes and pure white skin. Her hair was unusual, mainly because she likes to stand out in a crowed.
“Freddy?” Alexia called to her roommate Freddy. He was a gentle sweet guy. He has brown hair, normal brown hair; he has ice blue eyes. His eyes were what made him stand out in a crowed. His oval face structure was almost to perfect. He was finely built. Although he tried to work out as an attempt to get Alexia to notice him more, she never did. And his muscles didn’t really grow much either. But what he didn’t know was Alexia would marvel over him day and night, she just never did this to his face because she was frightened that he might not feel the same, and she would rather them stay friends than blow the friendship for just one little secret.
“Where are you?” Freddy yelled as he sat down the groceries that he had just went to the store to get on the kitchen table and opened the bags and began to place the groceries in the cabinet in order. He placed the milk in the refrigerator and left the kitchen, he stepped into the living room.
“I’m in my bedroom, I’ll be out in just a sec.” She announced from her room. Freddy waited a long minute before she stepped out of the doorway of her room. She continued to walk the distance of the hallway before she would reach the living room. Freddy noticed the black eye that Alexia had on her face.
“What the hell happened to you Alexia?!” Freddy was furious, “I swear if it was that low life boyfriend of yours I’m going to kill him. You shouldn’t be treated this way!” He yelled.
“You know how Marshal is when I say no to him.” She said in her soprano voice.
“You need out of that relationship before he kills you!” Freddy yelled.
“I can’t he’s really all I have had since my mother and father were brutally murdered.” She mumbled under her breath; bracing herself for the words she knew she was about to hear. “You know they still haven’t found out who did murdered them.” She tried to change the subject but it had no effect.
“How could you say that he is all you have had since that, I have always been here for you. You have always had me tied around your little finger.” He yelled.
“Please, we go through this every night.” She walked past him and placed herself on the couch. Freddy then noticed the dress she had on. It is a pink knee high, lace covering the end of it, short sleeve, low cut dress. Her hair was up in a messy bun and her make-up so beautifully placed upon her face.
“He’s not taking you out tonight, is he?” He gave her and exasperated look. She sat in silence. He sat down next to her. “ What ever you do, do not go home with him, please for me.” He said as he put on arm around her and she let a tear fall. It stung the swollen eye and made it turn from pink too red.
“ You know I can’t tell him no,” She said quietly. Just as the moment she finished her sentence the doorbell rang and Freddy stood up quickly.
“Let me get it.” He said as he was swiftly over to the door in a matter of seconds.
