• Chapter 20 Good Bye:

    Amy woke up on the coach still in a daze. She sat up slowly, but even so it still felt like the world was spinning. “What… what happened?” she asked softly. Arc turned his head to look at Amy “Hey, you’re up?” he walked over to her. “How’d you sleep?” he asked in a comforting tone. She looked up a little starting to feel a little better “How long was I asleep?” Bravo looked at Amy “Amy… you’ve been asleep for a couple… a couple days…” he sounded worried. Arc growled at Bravo “Bravo, shut it.” He turned to Amy “You’ve only been asleep for about an hour.” Amy managed to glare at Bravo. Bravo shrugged his shoulders “What? I was just joking.” He started talking to himself in a very quiet voice “you people can’t even take a joke…” Arc looked back at Amy “Amy what happened back there?” Amy looked at Arc “I… I don’t know… All I remember is that guy choking you then everything goes blank except… except I remember feeling very angry and I felt like I couldn’t control myself…” Bravo walked over “Arc what did she look like when she moved? Was it similar to those Twilight Beasts?” Arc nodded his head. Bravo grunted, “Damn…”

    Beta was running down the street until he came to the house where he found Bravo and Steven. “Ah, I think I’ll take care of these couple first, and, who knows, they might have been stupid enough to group back up.” He said as he calmly walked up the house. “This time… this time you all die!” he walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. “Pizza!” he shouted sarcastically.

    Arc heard someone walking up to the door. “Amy let’s get you into a different room.” Arc picked up Amy and carried her to Steven’s room. He set her down gently on the bed “You try to get some rest… we’ll take care of Beta.” He turned to leave and Amy grabbed the back of his jacket “Arc… don’t… don’t get hurt ok?” Arc smiled and took Amy’s hand into his own and kneeled down beside her. He was about to say something when he heard Beta shout “Pizza!” He stood up and kissed Amy on the fore head “I’ll be back.” He walked back into Bravo’s apartment.

    Beta started to shout more “I know you’re in there! Where is she?! Where is the little wretch?! Where are…” He was interrupted by the door slamming him in the face. Arc stepped out and picked him up “never call her that again” he said in a calm yet angered voice. Beta smiled “Or what?” Arc punched him in the stomach and Beta staggered back a few feet. He wiped a little bit of blood from his mouth “That’s more like it.” He lunged at Arc, but Steven came out from behind Arc and punched him in the face in mid air, which sent him spiraling back onto the street. Arc, Steven, and Bravo ran out onto the street around him. Bravo looked around “Where’s Shonic and Order?” Steven replied, “I had them guard Amy.” Bravo shrugged “Fair enough.” Beta started to get back up. “Is that all you can do?” he asked while standing up the whole way. His nose looked broken for a second, but slowly healed it self “That’s not even enough to hurt.” Beta said in a cocky tone. Steven looked at Bravo “How can he do that?” Bravo replied quickly “He is the Lizard Twilight. Certain lizards can grow back their tails. Becoming a Death Twilight increases you Twilight Animal’s ability. He can heal himself when ever and where ever he needs to.” Steven looked back a Beta “Well, that’s inconvenient.” Beta looked around at Arc, Steven, and Bravo “Well, are we going to fight or talk all day?” he asked impatiently. Arc lunged at him “Fine!” He was about to spin kick when Beta’s foot connected with his side and sent him to the ground. Steven quickly punched him in the chest and Bravo followed up with a kick to the back of his head. Beta didn’t budge, instead he grabbed Steven’s wrist and Beta’s ankle and started to spin. Beta and Steven were lifted off the Ground. Beta threw them into Arc. Bravo quickly got up “Brother stop this! You need to over come this hold he has over you!” Beta laughed, “Hold? What hold? I like this! All of this power is wonderful!” Bravo lowered his head “Fine…” He tackled Beta and flew for a couple more feet. He picked up Beta by the waist and started to glow. “Beta I’m sorry.” Beta struggled “What are you doing Bravo?!” Bravo smiled “Hey, Arc, tell Amy I said good bye.” Shortly after that an explosion engulfed Beta and him. When the dust cleared neither could be found. Arc and Steven got up. Arc walked over to where Bravo was “Bravo…”
