When Nat got home, his mother was making funeral arrangements. His father was in his studio. Nat figured he wanted to enjoy the rest of his birthday and went back out. He rode until his tank was empty and filled it up again. When he finally looked at the time, it was a quarter to midnight.
Out of nowhere, a light turned on behind him. Nat could feel the vehicle coming closer to him. He sped up, but so did the vehicle behind him. By then, he was panicking and had reached 110 miles per hour.
Nat was able to make it home, but found no one there. He searched the house for his parents. There was no one. In a frenzy, He fainted.
" Nathaniel," a voice whispered to him.
"M-mom?" he drowsily responded.
"Not quite," the voice said back.
Nat opened his eyes and a bright light was shining down on him. He had been strapped to an examination table.
" Who are you?" he said weakly. There was no answer. Then suddenly, Nat heard a door slam and a woman srceam.
" Nat, Nat. Get up, please!" His mother was shaking him.
He opened his eyes to find that he was laying on the floor of his bedroom.
"Mom? Is that you?"
"Yes. What happened to you? Where have you been?"
He sat up now, distraught,"Me?! I came home and you guys were nowhere to be found!"
" We were trying to look for you"
"Were you the ones following me?"
"What? We weren't able to find you anywhere."
Nat began to sweat profusely and fainted again.
