As my soldiers move in for the attack, I hear gunfire and screams. It shook my head. I look around, 5 of my men are dead and I take cover. I shoot about 3 or 4 of the enemy soldiers. The rest of my crew are still alive. But only just about 5 of them. So I throw one of my hand grenades and the explosion shakes my bones. Blood is everywhere is even on my visor. So i wipe it off. I look around for my crew, I see that two are dead but the rest are still shooting. I look out of my cover, and see one more enemy soldier. I take good aim and shoot. It hits him in the head, then blood splats everywhere. Some hit me on my face .The smell of copper fills my nose. I take a look at my crew only three left. I tell one of my closest friends, James to go check it out.He calls clear, so me and my other crewmembers come over and salvage the remaining weapons and ammunition We find a few Hand Grenades,a few pistols, and 2 assault rifles. We take the rest of the ammunition out of the dead soldier's body cover. Then I tell them to move on. We move on
quietly. I see one of my comrade's crew in trouble. So I take out my .55 Caliber Sniper, and aim at the enemy soldiers. I shoot two of them, one in the head and one in the stomach area. The rest of my crew take fire and kill at least 6 or 7, but one of my soldiers is down. Now there's only 3 of us left. We meet up with the other team, now theres ten of us. We salvage again, and we find a few pistols, about10 hand grenades and a lot of ammunition for our assualt rifles.
At my bunker, i'm laying down, holding my rifle in hand ,as i slowly drift off. I see in my mind the blood of my fellow soldiers, it almost makes me want to avenge my brothers right now and kill until I never stop or die.
As I was taught, life in the battle field was the greatest glory that could ever be achieved. But I dont feel that way. When I threw that hand grenade it killed two of my soldiers, was that a life wasted or a life that had to be taken to achieve victory. Going in to battle is not as easy as you think. You dont want to die, you kill and move one, you kill then ask questions later.
It all happened when Persia took over the entire planet exept for The Americas. I was drafted, for this everyone was, you were forced to. I joined at age 15 and when I was 10, my father was taken away and later killed that year by a sniper. When I was drafted I was one of the ones picked for the strenth, but also the courage and braveness that I have. I was one of the ELITES. We ELITES wore armor that was steel and bullet broof. They also injected us with almost 100 shots to improve us dramatically. They made us stronger, faster, more agile, they also made our bones stronger and the marrow flow more fluiently, they also made our skin tissue stronger for more ressistence aganst the steel of our armor. We also wore helmets with a dark visor on it that had a radar and shields, that were later installed as a software .
The marines were just a brave as us...a few died in combat every day just like today about 5 of my men where killed by my mistake, but they had to die for the victory of mankind.
There were about 50 of us ELITES, and I was put In lead of them all because of my braveness and courage in the battle field.
