• Devils’ Wrath

    James Baker was an ordinary boy from an ordinary family in an ordinary city. James’s life was far from perfect though. No matter what he did, his parents were never proud of him. The worst time was when he got an “A” on his report card, and his parents just screwed it up and threw it away. He always felt angry, he was never really happy.
    One day, at school, James was eating recess, when a kid came up to him and said, “His mother and father are drunks...” all the boys behind him laughed and snickered. Suddenly, for no reason he could explain, James was overcome with rage. He lashed out at the boy and punched him hard in the head. The boy was knocked unconscious. What had James just done? He quickly ran home, school being the last thing on his mind. When he got home he left his bag at the door and ran up to his room. He tried to think why he would have punched him like that, and was about to give up, when he heard a voice in his head.

    “James, destroy those who have hurt you...”
    “Use your hatred as a weapon...”
    “There are others like you...”
    “I will assist you...”
    James awoke as if he was in a dream. He was drenched with sweat, and had a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach.
    The next day at school, the bully wasn’t there. James ate his lunch as usual, but was suddenly pushed by an older boy. “See I told you he was a wimp...” he said. James got up and brushed himself off, stood up and did nothing.... Suddenly, the voice again...
    “Now James, unleash your hatred upon those who have hurt you...”
    James tried to fight it off. “I can’t though; I don’t want to kill them or my family.”
    Another jolt shook him as the voice took over: “I’ll do it myself then.”
    It was then that James felt a massive energy pulse through him. He felt himself growing stronger, and his teeth getting jagged. He turned a deep purple, and his muscles bulged from his arms.
    His voice was dark and deep. “Now it’s time for you all to pay! Suddenly, he let out an earth shattering wave of energy, wiping out everyone in the school. James no longer had control over what he did, as he was overcome by rage and anger. He sensed a massive energy outburst somewhere else across the world. He would investigate that later, but now it was time to go home, and take out those who’d never cared for him...
