• Gunshots blared out as the sound of bullets were deflected by a blade. I kept shooting as I was trying to get a headshot, but…no. Asher HAD to have a giant scythe to defend herself! Great. Just great! How the hell am I going to get her?

    On the other side of the headphones, I can hear Ekkehardt asking, “Why aren’t you finishing her of?”

    I growled. “Because she has a ******** scythe! The blade is freakishly huge!”

    He groaned. “Whatever, just kill her and get that damn ring!”

    “On it!”

    I can hear clicking noises as I looked at my pistols and saw that I ran out of bullets. Oh bloody hell…

    I hear screaming as Asher ran towards me and twirled her scythe to the side. I took a couple of steps backwards as she swung the blade right at me and, since I don’t have an option here, I used my pistols to block her attack. Then I held my foot out to kick her stomach to push her back. I quickly reloaded one of my pistols and defended myself with the other one to avoid getting sliced by her blade. After I got the magazine in all the way, I moved out of the way and pulled my slide back to load a bullet. Then I started shooting as I started loading my second pistol.

    Asher held her scythe up and deflected the bullets. I pulled out my second pistol and started shooting both guns. I can see Asher taking a couple of steps back and I’m pushing forward as well. I also looked past her and saw a wall blocking her way. I grinned cause this is perfect!

    I can see Asher’s body flinch as it met the wall and she looked back. I laughed as I stopped shooting and loaded another magazine into my pistols. “Are you done yet, Reaper?”

    Asher lowered her scythe and smirked at me saying, “Ha! As if, Zeke. I’m only warmed up!”

    I gave her a confused look and asked, “Warmed up for what?”

    Asher stabbed the wall with her scythe and let go of it. Her grin widened as I can see something white flying up in thin air and started covering her face. My heart must’ve skipped a beat, cause she’s turning into a Hollow!

    I took a step back as she started giggling like a maniac and the white stuff formed her Hollow mask. She giggled a little more as she held her hand up and more white stuff started covering her hands. “What’s the matter, Zeke? Scared?”

    I can hear Ekkehardt saying, “Stop freaking out, Zeke, and start shooting before her armor covers her whole body!”

    I stood my ground, aiming my pistols at her and started shooting. Asher just stood there as the bullets started hitting her body and I can see the bullet points hitting the ground. I stopped as I lowered them and stared at her in shock. “Ah s**t.”

    Asher started laughing manically as she started running towards me and held her claws out. I moved out of the way and felt the sharp nails flying past my shirt and my vest. Then I look to the side and saw Asher’s tail, which it’s like a scythe, flying towards me. I leaped backwards to try and avoid it, but the tip of the blade caught my skin and gave me a small cut.

    I finally landed on the ground and leaned against the wall. Catching my breath, I started thinking of a way to pierce through her armor. That’s when it hits me, I remembered packing an armor piercing rounds just in case this happens. I put away the magazines that were already in my pistols and loaded the piercing armor rounds. Sliding both slides on my pistol, I turned to see Asher just standing there staring at me.

    I can hear her chuckle as she asked, “Are you ready now, Zeke?”

    I aimed at her and smirked back. “Come and get some, Hollow!”

    Asher got down on her fours and charged at me like a speeding leopard. I started shooting as I felt a huge kick in my pistols and caused me to take a step back. I kept shooting and shooting until I landed a hit on her mask and saw a crack. Asher stopped running and leaped back, holding her hands up to defend herself. I aimed up and shot more at her. She used her tail to deflect the bullets, but the tail cracked and broke into pieces. I grinned, shooting more and started laughing. “I got you now!”

    I heard a click before I had to reload more of them. I looked up and saw Asher’s mouth part of the mask opening up. I stared up in confusion as I watched a rather large red energy ball growing in front of her mask. I heard a static noise through the headphones and heard Ekkehardt shouting, “Move out of the way, Zeke! It’s Cero!”

    I looked up in confusion and asked, “Cero? What the hell is a Cero?”

    “Uh…let’s say that if that fires, then probably almost half of the city will be destroyed and so will you.”

    I felt my body went numb and I took off my headphone out of my ear. I suddenly grinned and started laughing. “Oh really? Then bring it!”

    I can hear Ekkehardt’s complaint on the other side as I dropped it and I aimed both of my pistols at Asher. If she’s going all out, then so can I!

    I started shooting like a mad man as I can hear cracking sounds coming from her armor. Once my loads are empty, I loaded more and started shooting more. I can see the Cero attack getting bigger and bigger as it covers her whole entire mask. I can hear her shouting at me, “Are you ready for this, Zeke?”

    I grinned back and shouted, “Bring it on!!”

    My heart raced as I pulled out two special rounds and loaded them into my pistols. I aimed at her and saw the Cero shrink into nothing. I lowered them and stared at her in confusion. What the hell? Was that it? …or did I spoke too soon?

    A scream, a huge ******** beam shot out, and then…

    Asher landed on the ground as she kneeled down and sighed. She felt the armor slipping away from her body and she popped her neck. “Well, that’s done and over with.”

    She held her hand out as her scythe flew towards her hand and she caught it. Then she let go of it as the scythe was surrounded by fire and was shaped into a boy’s body. Hiei sighed as he shoved his hands in his pocket and looked down. “Is Zeke dead?”

    Asher shook her head as she held her hand out and stared at her ring. “Nah, just unconscious. Besides, I didn’t really use my Cero, it’s all an illusion since he’s only human.” She took the ring out and tossed it at Zeke’s unconscious body. It landed on his chest and made Zeke’s eyelids twitch a bit. Asher sighed as she patted Hiei’s shoulder and said, “Come on, let’s go home before Akuji gives us another lecture.”

    The two turned around and walked off into the darkness.
