• Ray yawned loudly and rubbed his eyes from the heavy sleeping spell they seemed to be under.He sat up groggily and walked to the kitchen starting up the Coffee machine,which made him wonder what would wake Sam first the smell of Coffee or the sound of the Coffee machine.He shrugged and leaned against the counter of the kitchen letting out a small yawn which made his ears sink down slightly then went back to their normal position.He looked toward Sam's room with a sigh of sadness and longing knowing she could never be his even if he told her how he felt.He knew that Sam would reject him so he could not have her.This didn't bother him as much as it used to when he realized his feeling for her the first time.Sam rolled over in her bed which was a mistake and she fell off landing with a loud thud.Ray winced,his ears falling once more hearing the many words that Sam said in anger and pain after falling off her bed.She stood up and stomped into the kitchen then perked up slightly smelling the Coffee intoxicating the room with it's smell.Ray smiled at her and gave a slight wave.
    "Mornin' sleeping beauty"He said sounding like he was being sarcastic but really thought she was beautiful wherever or whenever she was in front of him.
    Sam gave him a small smile and leaned on the counter next to him.Slowly sliding down to the floor she groaned.She hated morning and today wasn't any different
    "I feel horrible"She groaned putting her head in her hands feeling a small pain from the wounds she had gotten the night before.She looked up at Ray with a blank expression realizing they would have to be in the move again
    "Where are we going now?"She asked softly and quietly feeling sadness
    Ray looked away from her gaze and sighed "I..I don't know yet"He mumbled seeing Sam upset about leaving somewhere they had stayed so long made him feel horrible but it was all he could do to keep her safe at the moment
    "Okay so I have alittle time to say goodbye to everyone"Sam said emotionless even though she felt sad that she had to leave another set of friends behind
    Ray nodded and walked into the doorway of the kitchen "I'm...gonna go take a shower okay"He said and headed to the shower grabbing a clean pair of clothes before he headed in,he couldn't bare to see Sam like she was.Even though she showed no emotion he knew that she was feeling upset and her hated himself for that.Sam watched Ray leave and let a single tear fall after he had left.She hated getting so attached to everyone when she always had the possibility of leaving but it was hard not to get attached when everyone was so nice to her even though she was so different.She stood up and looked in the mirror hanging in the living room touching her pointed ears lightly as they fell in sadness.Sighing she ran her fingers threw her white and teal hair which didn't help her blend in any better since it was natural.She sat down on the couch and looked out the window to the forest that surrounded their house leaving them mostly secluded from the rest of the town they lived in.She saw the flowers she had panted growing and smiled slightly before sighing at the fact she would have to leave and no one would be watching them so they would wilt and die.She stood up and walked to her room laying on her bed and looking at the ceiling thinking about what to tell all her friends,how to say goodbye.She grabbed the ring around her necklace and bit her bottom lip holding back tears that wanted to fall from her eyes.Ray could hear Sam moving around in the house and sighed leaning against the side of the shower letting the water pour over him "I can't believe im doing this to her again"He mumbled and ran his finger through his hair.Looking at the door he sighed knowing he couldn't stay where he was and ignore her forever but he didn't want to see her blank face,those expressionless eyes that he couldn't read.He sighed and got out turning the shower off and wrapping a towel around himself before walking out into the hallway leaning on the wall outside her door listening to her calm breathing.Sam's ear pricked hearing Ray walking in the hallway and sighed
    "You can come in Ray"She muttered looking at the doorway.Ray jumped and sighed sliding into the doorway and leaning on it looking at the floor he glanced and Sam.
    "I'm sorry we have to do this again Sam but it's only-"Sam interrupted
    "For my protection!Yes I know!Every time we move it's for my protection!"Sam yelled enraged getting up from her bed and throwing her hands in the air.
    "Every time we move it's because Zack has found me and done somehting to try and get me.Why don't we just stop running!Why don't we just stay here and fi-"This time it was Ray who interrupted Sam.He was now enraged and upset at Sam
    "Fight!Is that what you want to do Sam!Why can't you understand that we can't fight!We have to stay alive and Zack will make sure I don't if we fight back"He snapped and turned so that his back was facing Sam now
    "Like I said im sorry we have to move but it has to be done to make sure we both stay alive"Running his hand through his hair Ray spoke softly and left to his room closing the door behind him and punching the wall causing the house to shake and leave a dent in the wall
    Sam stood looking at the spot Ray had stood thinking over his words mostly th last part.She knew Ray wouldn't live if he fought Zack to protect her and she thought it was her fault for that
