• It all began ten years ago.
    Mary was not doing to well in her life,she was very premiscous and had no intention on her future.Suddenly she came across a man who took her by the hands and decided to make her his wife.Not long after the two had met they were married.Mary's friends and family were happy for her turnaround,Yet Mary felt something was missing so she decided after a few months of Marriage to MR. prince charming that they should start a family.Mike her husband said that would be a good idea because initially when they met they had planned on starting a future together.
    The year was 1998 and Mary learned she was with child two months after being married.The place where she grew up everyone knew of her and she pronounced the news to her dearest friends.All through the neighborhood everyone was proud to see how this young lady had changed her evil ways and settled down.
    Trouble started to stir up in the relationship as the pregnancy became more real to the both of them and thats when all the drama began.
    Although life had become less hectic for Mary she still struggled with her complex and own self esteem issue's while she was with child.To make the fire more hotter her new husband the MR. wonderful in her life had done a 360* degree change on his way of treating her.
    Sooner the baby was due and the problems inside her home became more known to the outside world.Mike was not perfect at all he pretended to love and care for Mary in the begining but that all changed once the reality sunk in.
    Pressure of Marriage a new baby and no financial resources began to override the love they once felt towards one another.There were times when she would cry at night not knowing what the next day may lead into.The time had come and Mary was fed up with all the drinking and abusive behavior towards her so she decided to leave while in her last months of bearing her first child.Although she found the courage to leave it was not soon before she had returned.
    Alone and afraid with no one by her side she made a stride to make her marriage work even though her newly found love was not what she anticipated.He cheated he lied he even threatened her that if she leaves him again that he would die and take her along for the ride,but Mary had hope soon the baby would be born maybe things would get better.They did not get better on October 22' ND her son Adama was born.Mike had been by her side throughout this ordeal although there was mishief brewing in the air.Healthy baby boy her first child she had long for a baby all her life since she can remember.
    Thinking it would be easy,she had no idea what life would hand her after this experience.
    Her husband had visited her and the baby while in the hospital her dad and brother were there as well.The most awful thing about it was they asked Mary to take an AIDS TEST DUE TO THE FACT THAT she had venereal warts and the doctor who delivered her baby got poke and came in contact with her blood.
    She thought nothing of it and had agreed to be tested along with her husband the alchoholic.

    ONE WEEK LATER ON AN OCTOBER CRISP DAY!!!
    The hospital called Mary at her dad's house because thats where she lived with her husband and brother.The phone rang and she answered.The woman on the other line had urged Mary to come in for the results but Mary did not want to believe that something was wrong even though she was reluctant she set up a time to meet with the counceler.As she hung the phone up,she called her husband in the room while looking at her new baby and seeing her husband walk into the room she explained that the test result were in and the advise us to come in to get the results.Mary was 18 years old gonna be 19 in a few months she was young and her husband was an older man but that did not stop her from trying to be happy and make this family work out.
    October 30 one day before holloween her and mike proceeded to go to the clinic while on the way there was silence as she turned and looked at mike he said to her not to worry that no matter what the results we will stay together and that everything will be fine.Weight was lifted off her chest for that moment in time,nervous she and the baby along with her husband entered the main corridor to the hospital and went to the area to be called in for the test result.
    Panting quietly Mary was called to the back room and gently told to her that the results of her aids test had came back positive.
    The ceiling had fell and her heart was pounding not knowing what to say a tear started to form while shivering from the unknown she bowed her head as the woman explained the procedure to her and councled her on the results.
    Oh my god!!,"how can this be happening to me Mary asked?
    Julie the woman who read the results comforted her and also made her aware that her baby's test came back positive for the antibodies of HIV.The world was shattered and that when Mary's life turned inside out and would never be the same. crying

    Chapter 2

    By the year 2000 mary has been in an abusive relationship and with her low self esteem she feels as if there is no way out so she continues to stay.So another son was born to her and she was so proud to be a mom but it was not easy to deal with what came along with the news of her first child.Regaurdless god is in her life and protects her from the ugly.Lots of things happen for a reason so her husband was arrested for abusing her while incarcerated she lost hope that he would return and her state of mind was not good.Loosing respect for herself once again she allowed men to use her for sex thinking they would want to be with her.They only wanted one thing and that was sex.Mary got caught up in some deep shyt she got pregnant while married and in a sense you can say she was in denial about her illness so she considered herself to be a normal female trying to findlove she found only dispair.
    The years went fast and in between these years she help her husband to get out of immigration jail with the hopes that he has changed his life.
    Big mistake things got worse,at that time mary was to give birth to a child not conceived by him.The relationship was destroyed between the both of them.In the begining it was all sweet and dandy,though one learns the truth behind the wall eventually.Mary was determined to lead a normal life even though depression had set in and she was very out of touch in life she had help from other's.2002 came and past the illigitament child was there to stay.Her husband on the other hand planned to make her life a living hell.
