She coughed and her blood splattered across the floor. Wiping the blood from her lip, she brought her hands to her face and started to cry again.
The room was dark apart from the flash of a broken stereo clock, and her cell phone light beside her.
She pulled her sweater closer to her body. The tears kept falling; there was nothing she could do to stop them. It hurt so badly.
Placing her head on her knees, she picked up her phone. She had a text from Sam: ( Hey! What’s up? Talk to me!) She threw the phone aside, as much as Sam made her laugh, she just couldn’t talk right now.
Madison wiped her eyes and pulled herself up. She looked around for her phone; she saw it behind a pile of clothes as it flashed and powered down. From there she took a step and tripped over something. Grabbing hold of the wall, she got up again.
When she opened the door; it was equally dark in the hall, the only light coming from the sunset glowing in the windows. Walking to the end of the hall, she slid the bathroom door aside and walked in.
As she flipped the light switch on, light flooded the room and part of the hall way. It was a nasty, dim yellow light.
She looked at herself and turned away in disgust. She sat on the edge of the bath tub, looked at the floor, and turned the knob of the faucet as she did. The sound of running water filled her ears.
As she relaxed herself a little on the edge, it started again. She screamed and the edges of her vision started to fade to black, soon she was back in that world again.
Everything was on fire, the yells and screams of her friends pounded her senses.
“It’s just a dream; it’s trying to torment you! It’s all a dream! It’s after me! It’s all a dream! You’re safe at home! It’s all a dream! Madi wake up!” She was screaming at herself.
She saw her friends pass by, a few were crying. Yet all of them were sweaty, dirty, and bleeding.
Her stomach started to hurt; she put her arms around herself and closed her eyes.
When she opened her eyes she was back in the Bathroom. She was looking up through a watery surface. In her nightmare she had thrown herself into the water. She sat up and looked around.
After a moment she noticed that she was still gripping her stomach. Having been brought back to reality she put her hand to her mouth but she couldn’t keep it in and started to cough blood again. The blood washed into the water and tinted it pink.
Her body shook with her sobs as she struggled to stand. She stepped out of the bath and pulled the plug. As she waited for the water to drain she began to strip off her wet clothes and pilled them into the sink.
She turned the water on in the bath again. Once the water was hot enough she turned the shower on and stepped in, pulling the curtain closed.
She stood under the spray of water. The water was hot, so hot it made her skin go red, but she couldn’t really feel it. She was thinking about all her friends, who she could trust, and who she couldn’t.
She began to shake; her breathing was heavy and fast. She curled into a ball on the floor and put her hands on her head. Something started to play in her mind; she started to say it out loud.
“The only one I have left… Fade into darkness, Fade in to death… Fade into nothing, Fade into pain…I have nothing left… I WANT TO DIE!” She started out by whispering it, as she slowly grew louder and louder, and she was screaming it as loud as she could. The sound bounced off he empty walls and rang in her ears.
Still shaking slightly, she stood up and shut off the water. She pulled a towel around herself and walked out of the bathroom.

- I'm.... Not really sure myself. Actually. I've revised it quite alot, and submited it at school. I won an award for the revision if you'd like to read it as well.
