- I think you could have at least tried to go somewhere there isn't stuff in the way. The truck, light pole, all the other stuff; none of it adds to the photo in any way. Sunset pictures shouldn't have this many distractions. I can't focus on the sunset at all. You should go out and locate some nice places to take photos for when you might see an amazing sunset. Doing that will ensure you end up with a great picture of a great sunset, instead of a cluttered image that doesn't do it justice.
