This is actually an HDR image.
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and is where you take 3 pictures (can be more): at a low exposure, normal exposure, and high exposure, then blend them together to get all the ranges that your eye can normally see but your camera can't always pick up in one picture.

- i thought it was called bracketing.... takin pictures with normal exposure, over exposure, and under exposure...... but anyways its really nice
