- I have shot lightning myself, the biggest problem is usually surrounding lights if you increase the shutter. If you are llooking for the shot, and have the camera set and ready, I have been told you can catch it without a lightning sensor or the expensive setups the pros use. Any succesful shot, that is somewhat clear, is a good shot when you are dealing with lightning!

- in my opinion tis photo looks fake. for one, lighting flashes EXTREMELY quick, almost impossible for someone to snap a picture quick enough to catch it hit the floor, even with those pro cameras that can increase shutter speed to catch anything.
