Taken last year on Labour Day. It was cool and wet, the stores were all closed and it really gave Winnipeg this really... Desolate feel to it. Especially when this isn't one of its nicer areas, either.

Unfortunately, this part of the city is very desolate and impoverished. Most of the businesses and houses in this area can't afford to do proper maintenance on their property and eventually it all just starts to crumble and fall apart. Not to mention the amount of violence, gangs, addicts, etc that fill the area. It's really tragic. =( - Report As Spam
