Description:
EEEEEEEEEE!!!! The art show went great today, sold three pieces, got three orders and handed out a whole crapload of cards (my holder was less than half full when I finished). Not bad. A WHOLE lot better than last year's show. There was live music from a fella named Ken Spivey (Google him, he's fantastic) and I made a few new friends.
Anyway, I did this picture at the beginning of the year. =) - Date: 04/25/2009

- It's a digital model, hon. How she's sculpted is anatomically accurate for the pose; it's all mathematical.

- my suggestion: draw the woman in full so you have a full, concise view of how she looks. Then add in the panels in the front over top. after all of that, THEN shade it all with the same light source.

- Light source shadows don't match on the skin, or the reflection of light in the eyes. And the breasts are WAY too humanly low for the face and body age.

- the body shape is distorted in a way that makes it look broken. The breasts should be pulled upwards more to match the position of the arms, the left being higher than the right to match the raised arm on that side. The tilt of the neck does not match the position of the face either. The left arm doesn't connect properly to the neck.
